Feeling The Need To Fight

I keep getting this strong urge to fight but no one will let me. I tried talking to my parents about getting into martial arts but they said no. I'm moving out hopefully in may into my first apartment but that's in five months. What can I do until then? I really need some help.

Cliché though it may be, I tend to substitute in war-themed video games when I feel like fighting but am for some reason hindered. Strategy games like the Total War series are among my favorite.

There are also videos one can find which teach different combat styles. Grab yourself a stick from the local park and practice in your room if need be.

Thanks but I'm no longer feeling the need to fight. I only felt that way because I was dwelling on the past, which I should know better then doing.

Do what you want, you’re definitely old enough to make your own decisions. If your parents don’t like what you do/ want to do, then I think that’s their problem that they need to work out themselves. In the end, it’s your life and you can do what you want, no need for their approval. And I say why not try it anyway? Would be an interesting experience.

Not sure why you are wanting this especially given that it can cause more problems than it is worth but give online PVP games a try and it should hit the spot.

My nephews have gotten me into fortnite though I dont really like it that much and I'm also thinking about getting into league of legends, though kind of unsure about that one. I also play smash bros though I usually play against the computer but I sometimes will play with my friend or play online against other people around the world.

Just be warned that League gets toxic when playing in some competitive modes but beyond that it might be ok. I've been playing world of tanks for the past five years and it is far from perfect with the new player experience being rather horrendous however if you get passed that it becomes ok. War Thunder has more variety however it is ridiculous when it comes to Russian Bias and one shot kills. For very slow and casual play world of warships is decent. One warning though these games are free to play they are money pits except for League as one often needs to purchase premiums just to stay afloat credits wise. If you try world of tanks be sure to get an invite code before making an account so you can get some gold ect and a free premium tank.

I always play solo on everything and keep the mic muted. I also did martial arts for a long time and I currently really enjoy playing airsoft with my son.

Yeah I usually play either solo or with my best friend. In fact my friend got a switch for Christmas along with smash bros ultimate and I've been wanting to play that with her. Hopefully we will be able to play together next week. We have even thought of starting a video game club together at school but we only have a few semesters left at school so I'm not so sure about starting one at school. I could still have a small video game club with my friends.

Warthunder and Russian bias :D

I got into Warthunder, invited by a friend and gosh, I am currently grinding the german tech tree. How nice it is to have a Tiger II one-shot by a random ATGM. « Historical » they say.

Warthunder is the ultimate Zen test. Nothing like having an 88mm round absorbed by the driver view-port of a T34 at 50m range :D

I like tank games, but yeah. I seriously hate that. I play a game called Heroes & Generals quite a lot. I like how tanks and infantry can interact. CAN. Too bad tanks are often left with the rear unguarded to be attacked by anti-tank types. But thr game can be absolutely great from an SPW (APC) standpoint. I am extremely good at H&G. It is very therapeutic amd one of very few games I play now as an adult. I don't have much time for games, but I find time to Zen out and shoot some soviets.

I'm not very much into war games. Not that I dont like violence I'm just more into fantasy games where you get to battle with magical powers more. I guess because I'm really into the fantasy genre and magical powers and stuff like that. By the way I'm more into sci fi fantasy then mideviel fantasy. I guess because of the fact I'd rather live in the future then the past. I just cant see how people could survive in the past.
