Do You Have to Be Murdered to Reincarnate?

From what I can see is that the people who are reincarnated have died violent deaths in the past. Died in war as a soldier, killed in terrorist attacks.

If we die a natural death is that the end of the road for us?

If that was the case I would have ended my road in 1213BC when I died naturally as a 90 something year old Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh :p

I’ve been murdered a few times in my lifetimes, died naturally, all sorts of things and I still came back. I think it’s more or less to do with the lessons we need to learn as a soul that keeps us reincarnating.

You don’t know how much you made my day. I spent the last few hours fretting over a natural death and now...I am at peace.

Hi, from witnesses of all this then no, being murdered is not the reincarnation-drive, spirits who has died natural death reincarnate.

Then again it has been studied that there are children who remembers their past lives has it ended in a bad way, murdered being one of them, that it is unfinished in some way.

For me I had such a nightmare when I was a kid, for years, the nightmare we all dreaded in my family, the worse of the worst. I was experienced being killed by a man and in this nightmare I was a woman, not a child, and it happened in a bedroom. I was apparently in a relationship with him, one I wanted out of.

Overall the main part of my flashes of memories has been the ones that have the most emotions in them like love, fear, thus I can understand that others who remembered having been murdered they do so because of the high emotions, the traumas, involved.

I think there are two relevant factors in these violent or sudden death cases. One, the circumstances may be traumatic, it is difficult to forget, it may require healing of mental scars. Two, the life may have been cut unnaturally short, and there may be uncompleted goals or aims from that life, things still to be accomplished. That too can break through into the memory, the incompleteness is a kind of trauma or disturbance too.

On the other hand, to live to ripe old age, most likely there will have been times of struggle, pains and difficulties along the road, but by the end of the life the person may be already at more or less peace with the world. This peacefulness is hardly likely to intrude into our thoughts and disturb us in the next life. Even if it does, a sense of peace may be considered as natural, one wouldn't go looking for its cause in a past life.

Either way, though it's hard to put numbers on these things, we live many lives.

Well said Speedwell. When I died in my ripe old age of my 90’s in my Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh lifetime, I was much at peace even though I’d been a man whore for my entire adult life and basically made a name for myself in Egypt as ‘the great grandfather’.

I feel very much at peace with that lifetime and have no interest in exploring it because of the feeling of peace. I think in a way, we remember the ‘un-natural’ deaths as a result of some traumatic residue that is still buried in the soul.

I think it was Stevenson who said the average age of death of the previous personality in his PLM cases is 28, but that's not to say he didn't have plenty of cases on file in which the PL died of old age also. It seems far more common for young deaths to come back, but not exclusively. I know it won't matter to me how long I end up living in this life (first timer here), I definitely want to come back.

I think we need to distinguish between those who 'come back' and those who remember. Indeed that was the substance of my previous post. Stevenson's cases may be the unusual ones, the ones which attract attention, it doesn't imply that they represent the norm. I don't think its so easy to determine just how many previous lives we may have lived. Some 'experts' come up with very specific numbers for how many lives we each live. However, comparing one expert with another, we find there is no consistent or definite number, it ranges from about ten to something on the edge of infinity, at any rate a number which cannot be counted. Of course we can place some sort of boundary on the time that humans have existed on this planet, but it isn't so easy to draw a line and declare that we only incarnate into creatures exactly identical to present-day humans. For example there are Neanderthals, and all the many other precursors. Any line we draw is surely arbitrary.

Even 10 seems like a far stretch given what we know. At least 99% of PLM cases only seem to involve one PL; there have definitely been some, both here and in the literature, that have seemed to feature memories from more than one distinct PL, but never more than a couple, and I'm not sure there's been one where both were verified. A case of a child remembering a PL, then living and dying, and then another child appearing who remembered being that person (and possibly the first PL in addition) would be the most concrete proof of multiple PLs, but I know of no such case from what I've seen. I certainly hope we can live as many times as we want, but evidence is sparing, so I'd deem it hypothetical for now. It's true that, in the most abstract theoretical sense, having PLM's need not necessarily correlate one-to-one with reincarnation itself, but the problem is, proposing that reincarnation without memory occurs says absolutely nothing substantive about any observable state of the world, because having no trace of a PL is exactly functionally equivalent to not having had one at all... it's a hypothesis without an observation, therefore, we may just as well suppose it doesn't happen, as it makes no difference either way.

Nope! They can't even agree on the existence of advanced life-forms that existed here on this little testing-ground over its TRUE life-span.

If we die a natural death is that the end of the road for us?

iwishicouldtellyou,

The short answer to this is no. Even if we die a natural death it does not mean we are finished with reincarnating back into the physical world yet which from souls' point of view is a earth school. How we exist the physical is determined actually by the soul itself before incarnating and also due to it's karma it is working out at that time.

Before each physical incarnation, each soul maps out the goals and lessons it wants to experience in a given lifetime. The soul sets up major events for itself in that lifetime and the point of death is one of those events. In any given lifetime we have 3 - 5 exist points in which to leave. When a exist comes up and we chose to stay longer then we skip that exist point and continue on to evolve further. If not we simply exist and leave. The soul has a timeline with little exits turn offs on it like on a highway. Those exits are points they had built in to their timeline in order to leave when they are finished. They have the choice on which exit they want to take, based on how their life path has unfolded since coming into the body.

How does soul choose which point to take?

It depends on the trajectory of that souls path in physical life. Things change in our life paths as we shift to make decisions, choose options and grow. But, the souls plan for the physical life is the guiding force in a lifetime. It will choose the circumstances to leave life that best suit it’s life plan. The soul has accomplished what it came to do and it was a clear decision to leave. The soul viewed the physical death of that body as part of its larger plan. This may also be part of a soul contact as well.

Soul Contracts

Many times a death is part of a soul contract. Before coming into physical life the soul group including family/friends/even acquaintances agree upon the growth lessons for each of them and agree to create certain circumstances in order to provide growth opportunities for each member of the group. Since we learn the most about ourselves through our relationships with people we care about, a soul can choose to die a specific way or in a specific timing in order to bring soul level learning to the others in the soul group. Many times it is the death of someone close to you that prompts a spiritual awakening from within or other significant change in life experience. This is by design. Souls serve each other’s growth on all levels at all times. This happens a lot when massive groups of souls die all at once due to war, or natural disasters or even disease.

So soul keeps coming back into the physical world until it' reaches a stage of enlightenment within a certain lifetime. By then they have reached the last stage of the old soul cycle of reincarnation and are ready to cycle off all together from the physical dimension. At that point they would only come back as transcendental souls to aid the planet on a global level of soul evolution. Much like what Jesus, Gandhi, and the Dalai lama to name a few have done. So most of us including um wah! still have a long way to go yet before that happens.

But what the hay! Soul is eternal anyway so we have all eternity to get there someday.

Love and peace. P.

I just went through this so I'm doubly certain that this is true!

I have also spoken of the other points, but not with such recent experiences to back them up with.
