I don't want to reincarnate

A lot of the guidelines are sensible and entirely justifiable. Well, all of those are, in fact. What is odd is that whole crews have gone missing entirely, even in recent times, when they have ventured into a prohibited are yet my understanding is that at least one must remain on ship.

Also, as briski mentioned, the reportedly 'shot on sight' rule. I don't know if that is just rumour or not, but there do seem to secrecies about the S Pole.

Anyone seen the online Piri map of islands there from prior to it being covered with ice?

Best wishes,

Angie

Just a question — how would anyone truly benefit from lying and deceiving folks about the Earth’s shape? It just boggles me that folks would believe otherwise.

We are taught to take the words of 'experts' for it
And how do you think that people such as Galileo or Copernicus were just taking the word of experts? If you want to figure out the shape of the Earth for yourself, it is within your grasp. Lunar eclipses are fairly frequent, so you should be able to observe several, over a period of time. Look at the shadow cast on the Moon, by the Earth.

These things are how you challenge authority. Make the observations yourself. Use your own telescope. Your own camera. Don't trust anyone. Anyone! Make your own observations and - after a period of time you will accumulate sufficient data to form your own conclusions, But trust no-one until you measure it yourself first.

Is this what you yourself have done?

As for Copernicus etc., they never even went up as high as an airplane. August Piccard went that high in a covered balloon though and recorded "No obvious curvature".

Added to which it is now known those 'photos' are composite, and many astrologers and scientists have stated that Earth is not a perfect globe as shown in those composites. The one thing we can all be certain of is that it isn't that perfect circular globe. It should be easy to find the scientists who state that by googling 'scientists say earth is shaped like?" and similar terms (as I once googled and found scientists saying different shapes. If they can't agree, who can? I believe they don't really know for sure either. If they knew, they would be agreed, wouldn't they?).

Probably, Earth is as other solid planets and stars. An irregular shaped rock.

Best wishes,

Angie

One thing is to be an irregular shaped rock... another thing is to be flat. It’s the flat earth theory that is against all logic and knowledge.

As for big chain shops. Take into account unlike small businesses they buy things in bulk, bulk = massively reduced costs. They have an overall bigger pot of money to dip into when opening a shop, and also more folks will frequent popular chains than your local shop. Although I don’t rule out tax avoidance and possible laundering of money, I know they wouldn’t keep a shop open if it wasn’t profitable. Big business guys are incredibly mean with money and for them every penny counts.

I guess I'm on the bandwagon of I don't want to reincarnate, but there seems to be an unavoidable compulsion to do so. I see this whole existence as a journey... this life is just another drop in the pond that is my existence in the whole ocean of life. When I'm in a good mood I think about giving it another go. It's a bit like having kids... you think 'God, why would you do it?' But then when you have them, in the good moments you think what would I do without them... (then they do things that make you wish you were permanently sterile).

One of the things that excites me is the possibility of space travel. The old pilot in me gets excited about the thought I could be whizzing along the multi-verse in some sort of Star Wars epic in a future life. The sort of politics that a multi-verse with different intelligent species could create would put all our Earthly worries to shambles. Just my two cents.

Approximately 20 posts removed that derailed from the original topic and were political in nature, which is against forum guidelines. These posts could be cleaned up and put back, but until then do not start this off-topic conversation elsewhere in the forum.

I genuinely apologise, and shall be more careful to not be sidetracked in future.

Best wishes, and have a good holiday season to those with time off work,

I don’t want to continue to go off-topic, but I wanted to add that, when tempted to get political on a thread here, keep in mind that political convos only serve up division. There are plenty of places to voice these opinions, and we all have them, but *this* is not the place. I personally have cut ties with ppl I’ve known my whole life over the current political climate. I’d hate to see connections here broken in the same way. Concentrate on the idea that there’s more we have in common than not

I’m currently reading Destiny of souls by Michael Kant. Supposedly we have option of not reincarnating. I would love to know opinions of those of you who have read it. There are some things which I like and some which I don’t and I’m hardly ready to accept it.
Can’t believe we are this imperfect that we keep reincarnating for thousands of years!
Maybe we should start a new discussions on the book? I’m not sure however if this topic is allowed.

I have stated in another thread my disinterest in coming back. I would go so far as to say I don’t really care about an afterlife either. I feel as though my very soul is weary.

What I gather from my intuition while meditating or ruminating on this subject makes me think that the idea of wanting to cease to exist both physically and spiritually when we die is abhorrent to our guides, creator, etc.

But, I think I could reincarnate perpetually for eternity and not get it “right”. I have looked a lot into what “enlightenment “ is supposed to consist of. It’s simply getting to the point of moving past the suffering of existence usually by no longer being concerned with it. Seems actually selfish because it only benefits you. So even getting everything right seems wrong to me.

The more I live the more I realise there is no magic solution. No golden path to enlightenment. Just there is this, that’s all there is and all there ever will be. I think if you can move beyond your own suffering you become more inclined to help others.

This year thus far has been a bad sign that things are going to get worse especially for those who value quality of life and the sentiment of not wanting to return is only going to get stronger. Never have I've seen an age where things have deteriorated quickly as they have in so short a time without there being a war or some other calamity.

I would certainly agree with that Thereandbackagain. I'm in Britain - so we've not been deemed to be "at war" in my 60 odd years of this lifetime to date - but that's a bit of a misnomer. We have had the Falklands War, the Iraq war, etc during that time and I can't recall what it's like to live in a time where the warmongerers weren't "banging their drums" and have just had to count myself fortunate that my country hasn't been involved in a "Major" war in that time. Add in all the other stuff of our population steadily growing at a fast rate (including many coming into our country illicitly - and many of our own people encouraging/allowing this) and the way the jobs market is (which I'm only too thankful to be retired from now personally - rather than being on the receiving end of the gig economy). It certainly feels to me like a lot worse "atmosphere" in my country than it was and I do look back to the "easier" atmosphere of the 1960's up to, say, the 1980's inclusive. The time before nationalism started rearing its head trying to split Britain up into constituent parts and that mirror image of some people wanting to tear down our exterior borders. Then we have climate change and I wouldn't like to pronounce on how much (if any) of that is human-made - but it is happening and it ain't pretty. We have the possible introduction of 5G (with all its attendant health hazards and with the fact that it apparently even includes the technology to spy inside our own homes) and generally I can see we are on the verge of technology that can even read our thoughts and emotions (now that would be the biggest infringement of our privacy the human race has ever had to our knowledge - assuming there weren't more technologically-advanced civilisations than ours on Earth before now). I have always regarded my own thoughts and emotions as totally private to me and thought "Whatever else Life is like - I am free to think and feel whatever I decide and no-one can know what that is unless I tell them. I have that level of privacy" - but I don't think we'll have it for much longer. It would help if people at least "got on with each other" in the same sort of more harmonious way I've been used to - but so many issues seem to start up major divisions between people at a personal level in my country now (eg Brexit) and one witnesses friends and families falling out with each other about a "personal opinion" for goodness sake. Whatever happened to the core British value of "agreeing to disagree" and just regarding a personal opinion as just a personal opinion and not falling out with each other if someone we knew had a different personal opinion to ourselves???

Spot on, Ceridwen2. My view exactly of how things are in this country. I'm quite glad not to be young and face the future. And I don't want to reincarnate, either.

I've had these thoughts since I was a youngster, mostly because I don't belong 'here' in this body, in more sense than one. I literally can't take my life too seriously. My only consolation is to look beyond the narrow minded view of 'this piece of land is mine, that is yours' and start seeing all of humanity as a brotherhood whilst retaining cultural heritage in the sense of, you know, cultural heritage. That's gonna take a lot of fine tuning because we as a group of sentient beings don't yet honor differences, somehow we see differences as a threat. It's about honoring and respecting cultures. We also think we are better than others, whilst they over there probably think they are better than us. Sounds kinda like hippy trash, but that's essentially what we're going to have to do at some point. That is, if we don't nuke ourselves to oblivion in the mean time. Things will have a change heaps, and knowing us, its gonna cause a lot of pain in the process.

Just gotta say, don't let it get to you. We're here for a blink of an eye, then we're in the next body before we know it. My experience has taught me that being reincarnated has nothing to do with want, but a lot to do with need. If we need to be here, we will, regardless of our want. That's pretty much how I've lived my life, too. I sure as hell didn't want to be here, born the wrong gender, wrong country and wrong era. Yet here I am! Chances are you're gonna reincarnate. So better make peace with that and how you can make your next stop here better for yourself (and others) than moaning over how crap it is to be here.

All above is of my opinion so don't take it as gospel. I just say it as I see it.

Not sure if this belongs in "reincarnation questions"....

Anyway, yeah, I don't really want to come back to earth. The future and all the weird stuff that will happen (genetic modification, flying cars etc) freaks me the heck out. People being mean and ugly to each other depresses me. Things will change, and that makes me very sad. And also, who knows what sort of life I'll be reincarnated into.

I want to stay in heaven where things are nice.... Or maybe be a ghost guide for my great grandkids, keeping them out of trouble.... but I don't want to come back as like my daughter's son's wife or some craziness like that.OMG

I think I'm going to retreat back into my Christian mindset that we don't reincarnate but instead turn into spirits that sing hymns all day... not the ideal scenario either, but certainly better than the alternative.

Larali,

Sorry you feel that way. However please remember that the desire to not reincarnate is coming from your human state of consciousness which is limited in our understanding and perspective of reality of the cosmos itself. When we are in between lifetimes and existing in full consciousness in the higher dimensions (heaven if you will) it is there that the soul will make the decision to reincarnate if it feels and understands the need for it to further it's spiritual evolution and growth.

As far as retreating back to your Christian roots you can by all means. However do remember that In A.D. 325 the Roman emperor Constantine the Great, along with his mother, Helena, had deleted references to reincarnation contained in the New Testament. The Second Council of Constantinople meeting in A.D. 553, confirmed this action and declared the concept of reincarnation a heresy. Which is why the concept of reincarnation no longer exists anymore in the modern bible of today. Had it been perhaps Christianity today would have been a very different spiritual path. Each soul though has a right to choose what spiritual path best suites it for it's spiritual unfoldment.

Just remember my dear that you are soul, you are eternal and always have been. And you are as soul, as unique and special as their are grains of sands along a sandy beach or stars among the heavens. And you and I and everyone else on this planet along with all life comes from Divine love from the source of all that is in the cosmos or what man terms as god. We don't come from sin we come from love. Yes we have lessons to learn while here. And we will make many mistakes along the way. After all we are human. However it is thru our mistakes were we tend to grow from the most. Our life here in the physical world if very brief compared to life on the other side of the veil of reality. But it is here where we grow and unfold the most. Why you may ask? We are here so that soul may know itself by it's own experiences. And this takes many lifetimes to achieve this.

In time we will no longer need to reincarnate into the physical world anymore once we reach enlightenment. When that will be who knows? And even then we may come back to the earth plane as a transcendental soul much like Jesus did. A transcendental soul, is one who shows up upon the planet as a buoyant, balanced being with easy access to higher centers and states of consciousness. These teaching of the transcendental soul, whether verbal, by example, or by leading action, is centered on unconditional love and greater connectivity of the universe. Souls like this have been known throughout human history, Jesus, Buddha, Ghandi, Lao Tsu to name a few. Each of us has the potential to reach these states of awareness from within. And the process of reincarnation is how we get there.

Love and peace to you always....

P.

I definitely don’t want to reincarnate and hopefully we have a say in the matter.

I’ve been into the realm of eastern philosophy (Buddhism/Taoism, etc.) for the last 25 years. Essentially believing that there is some purpose behind this whole thing… a learning process, in which we grow/gain wisdom with every new life and eventually attain enlightenment at which point the reincarnation cycle ends. This outlook has helped me embrace my negative experiences and even helped me become a better human being, however I no longer buy into the notion that there is a logical/beneficial purpose to this reincarnation cycle which will make sense when I get to the other side.. It wasn’t so much an awareness of the many scams associated with this experience, it was a greater awareness of the degree of these various scams… and then observing the vast vast vast majority of the populace being unable to recognize them. As frustrating as it is, how can I blame them. Human beings are forced into government indoctrination camps K-12… essentially memorizing and regurgitating info and led to believe that such a process is education when in fact it’s programming. How could the meaning of this life be about experience and growth when we are programmed like robots and stripped of a genuine experience? It makes no sense. Whatever beings are responsible for putting us here almost certainly don’t have our best interest in mind. Positive energy and good times travel fast while negative energy and sad times travel slow. The cards are pretty stacked, who would want to endure this place only to get a programmed experience. And what’s the purpose of an animals life… meat and experiments?

I do keep the possibility of one positive outlook open… we all experience individual realities in which our thoughts manifest the reality we experience, so I’m ultimately shaping this negative experience and at the end of the day, no other people or animals were hurt in the process… however I see this possibility as a long shot.

I just came across this link and was really impressed. This lady breaks down what I'm attempting to explain perfectly… Much more thorough and nicely written in comparison to my jargon.

Nlytnd1, Your post was an interesting viewpoint on the whole process of reincarnation. I myself would never believed in reincarnation before since I was raised Baptist as a child. I questioned everything including the church. Which finally at 13 I left the Baptist religion which shock my family. For awhile I was an agnostics during the rest of my teens years. However all that changed when I had an NDE as an adult many, many, years ago. During that experience I had what you might term cosmic consciousness briefly. In that moment everything made senses to me including the process of reincarnation as I became aware that I had lived before many on this earth as well as the rest of humanity. For lack of a better term it is the process of the evolution of consciousness (the soul if you will) itself. All life in the cosmos is apart of this process and the physicals universe is only one of many dimensions of reality where consciousness can have experience in. There are more evolved souls that do help those that are at a younger stage of soul consciousness chose or pick the next lifetime that best suits our spiritual evolution. However as we evolve in soul consciousness we have more of a say in that process as we are more mature in making those kinds of decisions at that point. You are correct in that once we achieve enlightenment we can cycle off the physical plane all together. However there are cycles of reincarnation on the astral and mental planes as well. But that's another topic. In any case we can at that point chose any number of realities to exist in.

Some souls choose to come back to the physical as spiritual teachers, avatars, ect.. to uplift and aid the consciousness of humanity on planet earth as it evolves over time. These souls are called transcendental souls and we have had many of them in the past. Christ, Buddha, the dalai lama to name a few. When we are incarnated and working thru the human consciousness thru the lower ego many of us would never choose to reincarnate back into the physical. However when we regain our soul consciousness after death which is on the six dimension we see things and understand things from a much broader viewpoint and understand why we feel the need to incarnate again here. One big reasons is that most of the growing and spiritual evolution occurs here. Because it is here where the challenges are at there greatest which causes us to change from within which in turn's transforms us from the inside out. This causes the soul to know itself by its own experiences.

Anyway I look forward to viewing your link you gave. thanks for the post.

Peace and love P.

I can relate to the feeling of being trapped in a loop where same or similar things play over and over again from one life to the other. If one would have remembered the beautiful life in the upper realms it would be helpful but of course one don't....

Not mine but none the less it is spot on for some folks.

Earth life doesn’t have to be miserable if you can release all the guilt and fear inside. But generally, life on earth is misery. It’s so rare for someone to live a truly happy life. And most people who think they are happy are deceiving themselves and denying their true pain. I think that the earth is a place where people come to suffer. Maybe that will change in the future.

https://www.reddit.com/r/pastlives/comments/fvldg2/oldest_lifetime_youve_recalled/

There and back again, Life on the physical is truly for the brave and courageous of heart as most of our lessons and spiritual growing are done here. There are souls on the higher dimensions that have never been physical and never will. They have taken a far different line of soul evolution than that of man. So for them their lowest manifestation is the astral plane.

The earth is not a place to suffer per say but a school if you will for the soul to challenge and experiences the duality of existence itself. The reason we are all here is so that the soul may know itself by it's own experience. This process takes many, many lifetimes with various themes, life lessons, limitations ect.. to over come, while learning to deal with the lower ego and how the higher self must learn to master it's own reality. There are lifetimes where the soul will have a pleasant easy life as it has earned it from experiences from past life actions created from within. However one must remember that gold chains bind one just as well as iron ones do. In fact more so because the soul does not want to leave its prison. This is part of the illusion of Maya of this world. This keeps souls trapped in the cycles of birth and death in the lower worlds of duality. However when the soul becomes tried of all this it starts to seek the deeper meaning to life and the nature of existence. This is when the soul starts its path towards enlightenment. Only when the soul reach's enlightenment while in the flesh does it end the cycles of birth and death. At least in the physical worlds anyway. As we do have cycles of lifetimes lived on the astral and mental planes in between physical incarnations as well.

I have been told by some spiritual teachers that when you come to a place within your self where you are at total peace of where you are at in life, and that you enjoy being physical are you are ready to cycle off the wheel of life.

Peace and love always. P.

Thanks for the reply PolarisB,
What you describe is exactly what I used to believe. Back in the day I read a bunch of books in that realm (Journey of Souls was one of the more interesting ones). I've also had pleasant experiences on DMT as well and the energies I interacted with made me feel at peace to put it simply. But approx 3 or so years ago I found out certain truths pertaining to this human experience... as cliche' as this example is, it was/is just like the red bill, blue pill analogy in the Matrix... red pill you get the truth and upon knowing that truth one can't ever go back. This truth that I speak of is weird because it's extremely obvious once you snap out of your trance and it's overwhelmingly observable/prooveable and nearly everyone who becomes aware of this truth initially thinks that they will easily wake up others on the matter, because it's so blantaly obvious... however it's only blatantly obvious if one can put aside their programming, while analyzing the information... otherwise yourbrain will not even allow for the posability, since it goes against a lifetime of programming that has ben imbedded in our heads on a daily basis to the contrary... of course afterwards your free to weigh in your programming as much as you like. When one awakens to this I don't know of a single person ever who has reverted back to their programming. It's just not possible since their are few if any truths that are so testable, observable, provable, etc, while the programming requires the release of all logic/reason/commonsense, which is literally more far fethced than every other far fetched element in society combined. What this is is irrelevant and I've found that one can only find out this truth on their own and when they are ready. This awakening for me at least, demonstrated teh degree in which humans are asleep. Humans aren't really given a chance, we're thrown into manditory k-12 government indoctorination camps where we are limited to merely memorizing the information they give us and parroting it and this process we are brainwashed into believing that that such a process is education with the best memorizers deemed as smart... when in fact one can't be deemed as anything at that point. The memorized info is just a potential tool that one can then begin the processing of information from... the educational system stops short of this process. The powers that be obviously want an obediant non thinking populace to follow orders. To finally jump to my point... given that the vast majority of society, 95+% falls into this trap, who ultimately reincarnates to Earth only to get the zombie experience... with no free will just the illusion of freewill.
I used to carry the optimistic assumption that we somehow carry pieces of previous lives into each new life... however if challenged it becomes very suspect, since we have no knowledge of previous lives and virtually everyone in society in this life gets sucked into the non human zombie program. Then and existence of. pain, suffering, sadness is astronomically more extreme than necessary for one to get an authentic experience. Oh yeah and lets make this experience have a food chain going on during the process where life feeds on other life to survivie. Lower lifeforms will be manipulated and tortured through animal experiments.
I appreciate your optimism, but when added up this is nothing but a robbed human experience, replaced with an uneccesary and overhwhelming level of suffering and trauma. Whatever being/s are responsible for putting us here they almost certianly have sinnister intentions against all forms of life. I would like to think that I get a bring a piece of me into the next life, however it requires a bit of blind faith, especially since the pieces don't appear to add up in that direction.

"nlytnd1, I read your reply. (by the way just an observation try to break up your posts with paragraphs next time. It will help with reading your responses. Weather you remember or not we all bring with us everything we ever are in our PL into the present. This process is the evolution of consciousness itself. Most people on earth today don't remember their PL for a reason. In order for your conscious mind and present personality to handle the information give one needs to build up spiritual stamina and maturity to handle it. Because once one does start to become slightly aware of other PL lived it can be very distrubing and upsetting to us at first as we tend to judge things from our human consciousness rather than from a soul level. This is why nature pulls over the veil of memory for the vast majority of soul here. The karma that we have created will still go forward into the next life allowing the soul to unfold and work off it's karmic debit and evolve ect…..

This process takes many, many lifetime to unfold before we are ready to start to see the bigger picture. This physical dimension is from a soul level a spiritual school of sorts and this is kindergarten. The lessons here can and are harsh and extermely negative and heavy. However over time soul learns to master its reality where we start to create more refine realitys of helping, healing, and teacher others of higher spiritual truths that lie within the inner self. You just need to be open to it. Remember you are the master of your reality. The universe does not judge it just responds to your intent from within be it good or bad. However soul needs to expereince both ends of polarity of consciosuenss to understand the whole. So for now don't be too concern about remembering your past lives that will come in time when your ready. For now the most important life is the one you are living now. Make the best of it that you can and allow yourself to make mistakes along the way because we all do. Yet it is our mistakes where we learn the most from. Either way its all part of the process.

Love and peace all always.

We are not reincarnating. There is a race of energy-based beings, called Souls, that install themselves manually in the womb into your nervous system, and ride you like a game until you die. Then they detach from you and go and tell their friends in the afterlife about the wonderful experience they had, while you rot in the ground. They're doing this without our knowledge and permission, and they've been doing it for thousands of years and numbering in the billions. Science has never proven the physical Human animals need for a soul, and yet we see evidence that we have a soul in US, therefore, they are Invaders. We should band together to send a message in to their afterlife to cease and desist until they explain their agenda.

Do you have a source for that? Genuinely curious
