We can't both have the same incarnation; or can we?

I don`t think it`s that weird, after all, Rasputin is an interesting character. He was an obscure "wizard" who would make weird prophecies (like for example, he told Nicholas "I think somebody is going to kill me soon, if I get killed by my own people then there`s nothing to fear, but if I`m killed by yours, then your end is close", not saying he was a psychic, maybe he had some information, but still interesting). Add to that all the myth surrounding his death, that supposedly he was almost invincible and "survived death 3 times" (I know it`s controversial and there are explanations). He was a mysterious rebel monk with sexually deviant ideas who got to be one of the most trusted people to the Romanovs! I would be more interested in reading about him than anyone of the royal family.

I think it`s natural you would like Rasputin, and if you like someone you might try to identify with them. However, I wouldn`t start thinking about past lives except I had more signs or any memories about it.

Thanks Owl.

Well, I can't think of any specific memories, although I feel a familiarity when I hear/read/see things about the Romanovs. That could just be a connection with the time period. I don't think I was Rasputin, or any of the Romanovs, but I could have been a servant, a friend...but maybe just interested in their story, as many are.

One thing that I think is interesting with regard to some "famous" past lives, given how long ago some of them were, it's quite possible to have lived several times since those life times.

I think a possible source of "memories" could also be that you (meaning anyone in general) may have been someone who had a vested interest in the person or time period, such as a historical reenactor, a history professor, author, museum curator or anyone else along those lines.

The key thing to do, in my opinion, would be to focus and try to find confirmation of small details or things that wouldn't be available to the general public.

It all sounds like justifications to me. My experience tells me that we are each individual souls. I don't even believe in twin flames anymore. I believe that if more than one person claims a past life at least one of them has to be wrong.

I must admit i find a few things "difficult" with some reincarnations, im not sure im with the more than 1 person can be the reincarnation like the OP. Also I find the non famous reincarnations far more interesting tbh. This isnt a dig at anyone its just my view which could be totally wrong

Why do you find the non famous reincarnations more interesting briski?

I'm living my non famous incarnation right now and I wouldn't have it any other way to be honest. I didn't start a war this time.

I find the more banal incarnations more captivating, though that is not to say that notable reincarnations are any less believable. One could lie about being a shoemaker if they so wished.

Main reason they more likely to be real. Because memories can get mixed up if you are a fan. Not taking anything away from the celeb ones, as someone has to be a celeb one

I know what you mean briski. I'm very cynical of FPL claims myself even though my own claims are famous.

Although most of the fans of my lives would call themselves patriots, not fans. I was a patriot myself but that's because I was simply continuing the work that I had begun in my prior incarnations. I never had much interest in my pls before I remembered though. I was never a fan of them, I always just felt like another torchbearer just like they were. A link in the chain.

Most FPL claims are slightly off, especially shall we say, those of people claiming to be a notable playwright.

You may find most are off to you vivi but you can't deny the kick when you encounter a claim that is strongly believable. Although I have to admit, I've been more impressed with the non famous claims myself mostly. But that's because they were children's cases, which you'll find many of on this site. I know from reading them that they can't just be making it up and I know from my own experiences that I'm legit, but everyone else I have to take at face value. That's why I like to see the person rather than the claim. To see how genuine and grounded they are.

Oh yes, definitely Jim, I fully agree with you. I think my views have been slightly more adulterated by Graham!! Your case however, is clearly very, very authentic.

Graham was clearly, at least somewhat, delusional, though! Let's be fair.

His linguistic skills left something to be desired, if he really was the great bard he claimed to be.

That's one reason why I'm glad mine wasn't famous. I can't have too many refute my claims, I've just got to be wary of fact and fiction. My mind has a tendency to create from very little...

When it comes to people who make claims on such lives there is all ways a gut feeling if something is off and that is what people are going to respond too be it quick or slow but eventually things become obvious if something is wrong.

A while back, I came across a woman on the web who had claimed the life of Joan of Arc - her story is VERY compelling. She also spoke about a spirit guide (one of the voices that Joan heard and spoke to) in that life, whom she says has reincarnated as a friend in this life.

Hi firebird, I can see that this was obviously years ago, but I have to ask if you still remember where you found this person, and if you have any idea if she could still be found on the web?

Hello Tourmaline, welcome to the forum. Yes, this is an older thread and Firebird has not been back to the forum in five years. She only posted that one time I believe. But there is always the chance she'll pop in. I hope you come across the info you're looking for, surely the Internet will help. I just Googled these words, Joan of Arc, spirit guide, reincarnation, and saw many possible places Firebird might have seen this. Good luck, If we can be of any aid just ask. And feel free to share your thoughts on reincarnation too. ~Tman

Thanks for the reply! I didn't realize it had been so long since Firebird was here last time. Despite a ton of googling I haven't been able to find anything satisfying, so I was curious about what made the case of that one woman so compelling. I'll keep trying, thanks for wishing me luck!

know this is an old thread, but thinking - could it not have been a split incarnation thing ? / multiple simultaneous lives ? where one return after death to the soul as 2 ( or more spirits ), but have the collected memories from one of those lives ? sound to me complicated, but some believe in this . I don't really have an opinion, at this stage. Know too little of it and have never encounter anyone who has my past life memories, at least what I know off...
