For me the strongest symbol is the Ankh. I have attached a picture of the necklace my mom gave me for my 60th birthday. It's from Egypt. She went there 20 years ago. It's Egyptian Gold and Lapis lazuli stone. Special because of my memories there in a past life and because it's from Egypt and from my mom.

What are you drawn to and why?

The All-Seeing Eye but I can’t explain the reason either. This probably started from Gravity Falls and then when I do arts and crafts, I would put the All-Seeing Eye somewhere.

I always liked Celtic patterns. I loved to embroider it in my children's needlework. Celtic tradition encompasses both divine incarnations and animalistic motifs. This was part of their religion, but I do not feel the thrill of these signs. I have several amulets with such symbols and this helps me to avoid an unpleasant fate. Well .. I think so)

I'm not going to add all the WWII Germany related symbols that still affect my feelings, instead, I was trying to think about others. There's a 'y' letter in my real name I liked to shape to look like a trident when I was a teen. I also referred to this symbol by using the nickname "Neptune" at a website. And for the same reason, I always liked the flag of Barbados.

Ever since I was a child, I've always been drawn to the yin-yang symbol. My subconscious knew it was the perfect representation of transcending duality. Another, though I've no connection with the Sanada clan during the Sengoku period, I've seen it pop up a few times during regressions.

I, too, have an Ankh from Egypt. I was there in 1991 for Desert Storm and purchased it at the sook (market) in Hurghada. I am not drawn to Egyptian spirituality, though. As I rebuilt my life in 2000-2004 the Goddesses and Gods of North Europe awoke in me, along with a tiny bit of Native American, (No, I do not try to pretend to be Native or steal their culture. I have the tiniest bit of Native blood that attracts me to their spiritual beliefs.) I identify with my Norse and Celtic ancestors, and thus am drawn to the Runes.

Hi Rod, I have Cherokee blood. But also a lot of Irish and German. What a mix. I tend to lean toward the American Indian way of life - and have since I was a teen. I love Hawks too but they aren't really a symbol, just a beautiful part of nature.

Native American spirituality has a lot in common with Celtic ideas. And, no, I'm not trying to usurp the Native culture, just making an observation. The East Coast tribes may have had some significant contact with the Celts pre-Columbus. All the Northern Peoples, from Siberia to North Europe to North America revered the Great Bear Mother.

Hey Deborah! Is there somewhere I can read about your Egyptian PL? I’d be very interested to read about it! :)

The first symbol that comes to mind is the peace/"ban the bomb" sign. I've always liked it and identfied with it for many years. However, growing older, I'm not as undivided about it anymore. I found out there may be meanings behind it that I cannot support, so stopped wearing the symbol a long time ago. I will always have a weakness for it though, since it will always be a symbol for my younger years when I was still a naive, second generation hippie.

I'm also drawn to celtic knots and symbols. I'm not sure if that is past life-related, ancestry-related or both. However, I had a chilling experience once that leads me to believe that there may be more to it than just my bloodline. I don't know if anyone remembers, but three years ago Irish singer Dolores O'Riordan passed away, she was very dear to our heart. We couldn't go to Ireland to be there for her wake, but we were able to follow her funeral live on Limerick's local radio station. At the end of the mass bagpipes started to play, and I got massive chills throughout my entire body. Not so strange of course, given the circumstances, but it wasn't just that. I felt this strong, almost atavistic urge to stand up straight, take off my (non-existent) hat and salute. The entire experience was loaded with chilling energy, I don't think I've ever experienced anything like that before.

The Christian cross and dove are also symbols that hold a special place in my heart, for obvious reasons.

I'm saving this one for last as I'm not sure if it counts as a symbol, but cats. Cats pictured anywhere, cats mentioned in songs, and obviously real cats, they always stike a very deep and special chord with me.

Besides the one I am using, the Greek Key (OK, that's a pattern, not a symbol, but still), the French Lily, the Celtic Cross, the Anch and some others, mostly really old ones.

Everything Slavic, but that could be just regular patriotism. Apart from that, I am drawn to Celtic symbols, especially Triskelion. Honestly, I believe that our unusual passions, fears or preferences may be past life influence too.

I googled Slavic and wow, they have a lot of good-looking symbols, I'm not knowledgeable on what each symbol means though. I didn't know Hitler's symbol was Slavic.

I haven't really drawn to actual symbols but I have been repeatedly drawing these two a lot. I don't know what these two drawings mean.
