when do soul jump in a body?

Hi
I've read somewhere that the way some remember it to be is that they chose who was going to be their mom and then at some stage during pregnancy they jumped into the growing baby's baby in the tummy.

I have someone from a past life that died a few months after who I think this person resemble was born. Could that be ? Can one jump in a few months after a baby is born ?

Almost definitely no.

A soul enters its future body several months before the birth, in order to have enough time to establish a solid symbiosis and integration with its brain and nervous system.
And in the very moment this occurs, all the soul's memory about its past gets blocked, so that it can start its future life from an entirely new page.

All this according to Michael Newton, in my understanding.

Wow! very good... Yup this is what actually occurs. In face while the physical body is developing in the womb so are the inner subtle bodies that are attached to it like the astral and mental body as all of these will be intertwined together working as one unit once the baby is born. The silver cord connects all the higher bodies together with the physical and links it to the soul for the course of that lifetime. During this process a solid symbiosis and integration occurs which transfers all the karmic pattern's in seed like form to the higher subtle bodies which will eventually transmit information into the DNA now being manifested in physical form to be released over time as the new personality and lower ego take hold of that new lifetime. And like you said the memory about the past lives of that soul will be blocked thus allowing the manifesting personality and lower ego a clean slate in that new lifetime thus allowing the karma to be worked out unhindered.

It's actually a fascinating process for a soul to incarnate into the physicals plane. As much planning must we worked out first in the higher dimensions before starting the process. Simply because it involves not only the 3rd dimension of reality but also the 4th, 5th and 6th dimension of our universe as well. However most people are only aware of the physical aspect of incarnation not realizing that the other dimensions are involved in the process as well.

Hi, John:

Regressive hypnosis unblocks the blocked memories (wherever they are) by acting upon what you call physical entity, namely, the subconscious part of the physical brain. If it succeeds, the individual in question can read those memories. Hence, it's the physical entity that blocks the spiritual with respect to PL memories, all the time while the reincarnation lasts. Or, at least, even if the blocking mechanism itself is located in the spiritual, it is closely related to the physical entity and dependant on it.

So, it looks like the physical brain is the only channel the spiritual has to interact with the real world outside the organism.

I deliberately omit the option of the drugs.

Hi. I’m new to the forum/site... but I just wanted to put in my 2 cents here... according to the Buddhists, the soul incarnates into the body at 49 days. Which is strangely about the time a woman would be finding out she were pregnant.. my limited understanding of this (from human perspective) is that we as souls choose our incarnate at the 49 day mark. It doesn’t always mean with certainty that you will stay with that choice though. You can definitely come and go as your body is being prepared. All the way up until 1 yr old I believe. After that you are pretty well attached to the body and tend to stay with it more and more.
I personally remember being in the area I was born in before I was born. In fact I was born in New York and adopted shortly after. I have never been there since and I can recall places my mom went before I was born and people she was with. I have an inherent knowing of the ways of New York and I distinctly remember floating around there. I honestly believe I was born there for a reason ( also I believe I lived there in a past life though haven’t had a successful regression yet. ) also I remember being able to utilize, I guess it’d be considered astral projection, up until about 1 yr old. When I reunited with my mom at 18 yrs old she was blown away with my ability to recall things I shouldn’t have known.
