Probationary
Feel free to answer my questions below.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? .... When I was a toddler.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? .... not until my teens.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? ....yes, and she told me hers. :)

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? .... A man, I believe. I'm trying to deal with it the best way possible.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? ....Hmmmm.... I would probably be Vincent Van Gogh. Just so that he can enjoy the fame he did not receive during his lifetime.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? ....Sure.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? ....Probably change the subject lol or talk about the weather.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? ....I would bring my father. He seems to freak out every time I talk about my past-lives and I want to show him that it's okay to think about this stuff.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? ....I like anything by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young. They have a certain way of storytelling that's so beautiful like a painting. So I think of art.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? ....not yet. :)

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? .... i was 4

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? .... it really wasnt a secret when i was a little kid. i told everyone i that would listen that i was in the SS & Vietnam. but now, i really dont talk about reincarnation with just the everyday random person lol. some people think you're crazy if you believe in it. sometimes i'll talk to my husband about it

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? .... not an "in real life" friend.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? .... i was a guy. when i was a little kid i wanted to be a boy so bad that i wanted to actually become one. til i was 8 every birthday wish i would wish for either a unicorn or to become a boy. as i got older i became more comfortable being a female

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? .... Claus vonStauffenberg, no other reason than because he's my favorite historical figure. either him or Marie Antoinette. same reason.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? ....probably not.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? ....probably be like "oh, haha, i was just joking, i was probably just some slave" and change the subject

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? ....my husband most likely. it seems like the most logical choice of person.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? ....they dont really mention something, but give me a nostalgic-y type of feeling. military march songs, Nazi German national anthem, Vietnam era protest songs (hate them), harpsichord music and for some reason glass harmonica music lol, and renaissance music.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? ....it was a reading and a bit of hypnosis. it was interesting and i found out quite a bit of it what i had said was true. it also kind of explained quite a few things w/ myself too, like weird random things

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? .... At age four I was a big runner...I found I was unable to run as fast as I thought I should because I had to breath...I was really ticked that I was restricted this way, and it all seemed like a new development...I'd been so fast before, but still didn't know where that was. ("Gallipoli" really felt familiar)

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? .... no secret, just an odd feeling which differed from the ideas of others, if they had any.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? .... Not really. They could never really understand what I was talking about and it was all so conceptual...we were all so hard wired for activity and not mentality in my neighborhood until early highschool (for some, while others still do not think).

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? ....I have been male for at least my last four lives.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? .... Not so much famous...the first thing that came into my head was "a medical researcher"...I've got some odd thoughts about vibrational therapy that won't go away.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? ....If they seemed receptive to the idea and deep enough to understand it...no need to blow someone's mind on the off chance they aren't ready for it.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? .... "So...what do you think? Any questions? You're looking kinda funny...wanna sit down? Here, have another martini..."

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? ....I would bring my wife...if she can see it she can believe it, but she has issues with mental concepts and this might assist the process.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? ....Mozart's string music simply wakes me up...like a jolt of caffeine. "100 Years" by Five for Fighting...it was playing on my ipod when I had a vision of the ex-fiance...it bagan my "enlightenment", and the ages cited in the song have each (so far) had great significance in my life.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? .... I have had my own pl meditations confirmed by mediums, and they have helped flesh out some details and symbolism I could not understand...you must find a good one...preferably one you know from a previous life!

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? .... The clues have been lingering all along, but the discovery wasn't officially made until two years ago.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? .... I was scared to tell anyone. I've mentioned it with a couple of friends but, for the most part, it's pretty much been a big secret.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? .... I told someone that I felt safe discussing it with. They just looked at me like I grew a second head.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? .... I was female. There are times when I still find it difficult being male.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? .... Probably Marie Antoinette. I would be proactive in finding peaceful governmental changes that would avoid years of revolutionary bloodshed that ultimately lead France into the Napoleonic Wars.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? .... If they are open to it I might, but if they are not interested I'm not going to say anything. It's not my job to convert their beliefs. They will reincarnate whether they believe in it or not.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? .... I would try to make my case, and if they are still not buying it I would likely change the subject.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? .... Probably my sister. We are able to open up to each other about many things. It would be nice if we had the same spiritual beliefs and I could talk to her about this stuff.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? .... A lot of music from the early to mid 70's moves something inside my soul. Even when I was a little kid these songs were 'familiar' to me. No doubt these were probably my favorite songs before my early end in my last life.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? .... I've never had professional reading or regression. I have had details from memories that I've come up with on my own that turned out to be true.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before?

At 17... pretty old already. Well, at that age i started having memories, i became a reincarnation believer at 13.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?

I tried to tell my family and give hints but they thought i was crazy, i only told a few people online who were in the reincarnation communities.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives?

Same as with my family, they wouldn' t believe me. Or they say "Oh how interesting" and then they forget what i even said.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body?

I was a man. I don' t really care except i would like to be taller and maybe have a beard.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why?

How difficult, hmmm... i cannot think of anyone actually who i would like to be that didn' t have a tragical death, so i better skip this one.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them?

No, it' s useless to try to deal with these people, i better educate someone who believes and it' s new to all this.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond?

I would be "What? wouldn' t you think the same if you had this and this and this fact?" if the person interest me, or i would just make a joke if the person doesn' t interest me.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why?

Well my partner already knows and believes me so... i guess nobody and i save the chance for when useful (if it ever becomes useful)

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life?

Not because it mentioned anything related, but because i heard them before in the past probably:

Voce Abusou

Andreas Hoffer

Un bel di vedremo

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?

No. If i ever do it it would be just for fun to test how good the medium is

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before?

I can't remember ever not knowing. It seems as if it's always been a part of me.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?

I spoke a lot about it when I was little; my grandmother wrote a lot of it down in journals. After that, I naturally seemed to gravitate towards people with similar beliefs and experiences, so I'm lucky to have had positive support in my life.

It's never been a secret to me - it's just part of who I am and what I believe.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives?

Yes, most have their own experiences to share. With those who don't believe, I don't usually bring it up unless they ask.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body?

Female. New body works fine :D

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why?

Although she's still living now - Dr. Maya Angelou. I would like to have one tenth of that woman's amazing insight and knowledge!

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them?

I might have a fun debate with them as long as they're respectful, but I won't try to change their minds. Each to their own :)

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond?

A "famous" past life is not something I would discuss with people who don't know me well, so I don't think I would encounter that problem.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why?

Someone who shared that life with me, so they could see and remember.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life?

I've been a huge fan of classical and opera since I was a small child. Not a common genre of music in our house. "Molly Malone" affected me hugely when I was a toddler - I'd go off in the corner and cry mournfully whenever it played. More recently a friend played a couple of songs for me - some traditional fado music - and it has gotten me feeling "homesick."

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?

I've received verification of things I've already known. :)

Q 1: How old were you when you discovered you lived before?

I think I always knew. I was about 10 when I discovered the term "reincarnation".

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?

My family doesn't talk about this sort of thing. I tried to bring it up and was pretty much laughed at. So I keep it to myself...except here in this forum. :)

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friends about your past lives?

Nope. Don't plan on it.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body?

Female in my last life. Female now. Most of my lives have been female. I like it that way.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why?

Not sure how to answer this so I'll skip it. I wouldn't want to be someone who isn't "me".

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your past lives to educate them?

This would be tough for me. I'd say probably not.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond?

"Ha ha, just kidding...?"

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why?

I'd show my mom since I think we shared a past life together around the turn of the century.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life?

When I was a kid, I heard "The World Turned Upside Down" in school and felt this overwhelming homesickness. That was a Revoluntionary War era song and played when the Americans defeated the British. The weird thing was, the version I heard in school was instrumental...but I knew the words.

Heard a song by Bach on the radio (can't remember the name of it). And had a quick memory of sitting in an elegant 1930's theatre listening to the same song.

I love the song Ojas Asi by Shakira. I could listen to it a dozen times and not get tired of it. It makes me think of my past life in ancient Egypt.

Q 10:Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?

Have never had a psychic reading. Maybe someday.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? I was about 12, when I had my first vivid dream.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? not until I found this forum.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? Growing up, no. I now have some friends that do believe, so it's a little easier to talk about these days.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? A man. When I was little, I could never understand why I was "missing" a certain body part...and sometimes would pretend that I was the dad when playing house. I find it frusterating at times, but I deal with it the best I can - I have to :)

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? Charlie Chaplin. I've always been drawn to silent films of that time and that particular era. Charlie brought laughter when it was needed the most, during rough times such as war and depression. He enjoyed life and his passion for comedy, and it showed in his movies.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? Possibly, depends on if they're willing to listen and be open-minded about it.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? I'd probably give them a strange look back, then laugh or change the subject.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? My sister. She's had several personal experiences (not necessarly all PL related, but also spiritual, dreams, seen ghosts, etc.), I think she is afraid to acknowledge the fact that there is much more to life than what we realize...it scares her, so she denies it. I'd like to take her back and show her that it is ok, and there isn't anything to be afraid of.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? I can't think of any at the moment.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? yes, she validated my memory of a girl being trapped in a fire and described it perfectly.

This is a great way to get to know each other better!

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? – I have always remembered something; don’t remember ever not believing in reincarnation.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? - Didn’t tell just anyone, but shared with some.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? – Yes, several friends & family, and especially my brother.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? – Male last time and many times previously, have had and still do have some adjusting to do.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? – Had to? I greatly dislike the idea of being someone famous (probably a past life thing!)

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? – Would depend on how skeptical, maybe.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? – Wouldn’t go there in the first place.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? – My brother, because we both long for the past and it would be 10 times more fun to do together.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? – Could say lots here, have been a musician several times and am currently one again. Love music from the Medieval, Renaissance, Irish/Celtic eras - anything old.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? – Haven’t had one.

Hi,

Great questions. I was 12 when I first remember...remembering.

That was.... 1971. Not a lot of information available then, not many books. My sister, my mom and I did share in the early days. Now we share a lot. :)

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? .... I first mentioned it when I was very young but started discovering more with my daughter when she began her journey of enlightenment

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? .... I shared with a friend who I should not have, she led me down some wrong paths. Then I discovered this site and found the help I so desperately needed at the time.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? ....At the time we were working more on my daughter's past life memories but they did share.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? .... A woman, in the lives I know about I was a woman.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? ....That's an easy one. I would come back as the doctor that refused Hitler's mother an abortion and I would instead do the abortion.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? .... I used to try to teach my brothers who refused to believe. Then my father told me that it was not up to me to teach them, it was up to them to believe. Until they chose to believe they just would not know.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? .... Knowing me I would probably just keep on talking LOL

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? .... I would take my youngest daughter. We could learn together.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? .... Nothing really.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? .... No past life reading but I have had my cards read and that turned out to be true, I had runes read a few weeks ago and did not like it. I would like to be regressed once my youngest is out of high school. I have always waited just in case something goes wrong. I do not know why, it is just a fear I have ..

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before?

Still hasn’t happened. :) I was 10 or 11 when I first came across the concept of reincarnation, reading The Razor’s Edge.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?

Nothing to tell, but I am of an age and time and place when discussing assorted altered states of consciousness wasn’t unusual so reincarnation was often talked about.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives?

See above.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body?

No idea. Everything about the physiology of a woman’s body came as a surprise to me as I went through it. But nothing was familiar about a man’s body either. I was the most un-curious kid, teen, and young adult ever and never bothered learning anything about sex, gender, or bodies until the issues more or less came up.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why?

One of the Victorian women travel writers, preferably Freya Stark! I want to be an adventurous woman and I can’t think of that many. But who wouldn’t want to be Freya Stark?

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them?

If I had something interesting and intelligent to relate, I suppose, but it’s not my job to educate anyone, really.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond?

I’m hoping they’d ask why I couldn’t be more original! If they said, “A egomaniacal mass murdering tyrant? Totally you,” I’d cry.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why?

Would be fun to have gone with my sister, if I knew where it was we were going. She remembered some past lives but I wasn’t in any of them.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life?

None really. I love music but it’s mostly rock from this lifetime.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?

No, although one said that because I had spent several lifetimes in the middle ages in monasteries and convents nursing plague victims I would be rewarded financially in this lifetime. Oddly, before that I had noticed that I always seemed to have ‘enough’ money, even when I was very poor, and wondered about how that came to be. And the nursing thing almost feels accurate, for some reason. On the other hand they also said I’d been a singer in someone’s court and that one’s definitely nonsense!

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? Since I was real young there were always things I was interested in or things that seemed familiar that were "more than just coincedence". I never really thought about the idea of reincarnation until twelve years old.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? Most of the time I keep it to myself. I told my cousin and me and her talk about this stuff all the time. I hint at things with my mom, but I'm afraid to approach subject with anyone else in my family.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? My cousin

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? The past three lives of mine I was male. Not coping well. Most of my lives I've been male, the known exceptions being 1300s Norway and somewhere around Shogun and/or Imperial Japan.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? Mark Twain or Mozart. Mark Twain because he's hilarious and he has some very interesting insight into things, and Mozart for still unknown reasons. I just think it'd be cool to be Mozart.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? Maybe. Depends on how receptive of the idea they are. If they're like my grandparents, they'd just make me mad, so I'd avoid it.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond?

I wouldn't approach the subject of possible famous past lives with anyone except my cousin.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? Um....Lots of people, so I can't pick just one.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life?

Certain classical pieces -particularly Dvorak, Chopin and Liszt- grab my attention, though classical music has never been a thing in my house.

Certain folk songs -particularly Scandinavian and anything with bagpipes.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?

Nope. Never been to one.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before?

Let's see...I started knowing around 5 or 6, but didn't start having dreams until I turned twelve.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?

I didn't tell anyone within the family, but as I grew older I found it easier to talk with my mother about this sort of thing.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives?

I told a few. Some of them believed me and told me theirs, but others just sat there and listened.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body?

I was a male. This time I'm a woman, a tomboy really.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why?

Well, I already did.
;) but if I had to come back as a different person I guess it would have to be...Edgar Allan Poe- he's so fascinating.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them?

If they bring up the subject of reincarnation, I guess I would tell them about my non famous lives because nobody seems to believe you anyway.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond?

Make a goofy face.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why?

I have no idea...I would like to bring a family member. They seem to understand me the best and would love me no matter what.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life?

Actually, my attention is mostly focused on the instruments playing in the song. For example, I love old instruments such as Lutes, Dulcimers...Harps.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?

Yes. She was a woman I knew at work. We became friends right away and I got a reading from her while we worked at the same station.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? Grew up with it. It was just a fact of life.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? It was normal family conversation, so I spoke openly about my first PL memories.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? Yes. It was just accepted that some people believed in reincarnation, so it wasn't taboo, even among those who didn't believe.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? Male. I have been a male for many of my more recent lives and am having trouble with "acting like a lady". I am a perpetual tomboy, and my husband appreciates having a wife who doesn't get grossed out by dirty work. My "male spirit" has also come in handy in rough situations, and it's good to have finally learned how and when to turn it off.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? Fame is not something I want, but if I had to, Washington Irving. I love his stories and would love to know how his mind put them together.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? Not to educate them, btu if they asked I'd speak openly.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? Shrug and give them a chance to change subjects.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? My husband. He is on the fence about reincarnation, and I think he'd like to see some solid proof.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? The Sunshine of Paradise Alley, specifically the lyrics: "Though it's not very wide and it's dismal beside, Yet they call the place Paradise Alley..." I will also drop everything for doo-wop.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? No, but a woman from the Smoki branch of the Navajo (IIRC) gave me some predictions about my current life that are only now coming to fruition, much to my amazement.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? I studied it intensely at 14 but was educated since I was a toddler

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? 4 people.. It was my biggest secret. But 2 of them I told was a joke.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? Once, she gave me the funny look so I never mentioned it. Again.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? Male, and I'm alright with this one..

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? Charlie Chaplin! He's awesome! Plus he didn't die horrifically like Kennedy

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? Skeptic vs skeptic. Won't be pretty. But most of us believe in reincarnation or don't care at all.. I have not met a skeptic yet.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? Tell them I was joking and continue with other conversations.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? My past life.. So that he can stop that and save my soul...

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? Nazi anthem.. I haven't heard much yet..

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? My paternal grandmother's one but she won't tell me... I can't find any mediums around my place..

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? 16 years old (still 16 now).

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?
My mom sort of knew when I did, because of the things I was experiencing. I later shared with my dad and one close friend. I don’t plan on telling anyone else.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? Just the one friend, but I didn’t go into that much depth.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? I was male, I’m now female in this life. There hasn’t been anything to ‘cope’ with in this life, I feel fine in this body.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why?
Not sure, I don’t think I’d want to be famous.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? Nope, I’d just let them believe what they want.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? I probably wouldn’t care.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? No one. I wouldn’t want anyone I know to see what I’ve been through, it seems too personal.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? I’m drawn to 40s music and I believe this is from my past life during WW2.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?
Yes, from 2 mediums. The part they were both right about was being in the military (during ww2) but the other information doesn’t seem to fit perfectly. I’m still recalling memories as time goes on so maybe something they brought up could fall into place later. But now I’m not going off what they say, I’m going off from what I resonate with and what I remember.

This is very interesting. Thanks for reliving the thread. :D

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before?... I was seven years old when I started having memories of past lives, but according to my mother, when I turned five I began to say that I missed my daughter and wanted to go back on stage because I felt better.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?... I told my parents. They still think that reincarnation is not feasible.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives?... Yes! My friends understand perfectly when I tell them about past lives. I have an atheist friend, but he is beginning to suspect a past life in Russia lol.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body?... In my past life I was a man. It's not a big difference, really. He was a bit "effeminate". K wasn't interested in gender roles. I feel comfortable with my new body.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why?... After having a suffocating life where I was easily depressed by attention, I don't want to be famous again. Anonymity is very pleasant. Anyway, maybe I would be Freddie Mercury. In my past life I envied him quite a bit. He was such a great artist. I would also like to be Jim Morrison because I like The Doors.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them?... If she/he is an open-minded person, obviously. If she/he is a closed-minded person who doesn't accept other options, I don't waste my time explaining anything.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond?... I never tell anyone who I was because so many people claim to be that person lol. I don't know, I guess I would talk about anonymous past lives to divert attention.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why?... My best friend. He was a fan of the person I was in my past life. It's not a good memory for me, but he would be happy to see his idol I suppose. Another option, my mother. She was my father in a past life. I would like to make her understand that she must change her behavior with me and be more understanding.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life?... A band called "Pixies." All the albums of that band make me feel nostalgic. Especially the album "Trompe Le Monde" and "Surfer Rosa". The first time I heard them is as if I had heard them a thousand times before. I like classical music too, and some artists from the 50s.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?... Yeah. I lived in a neighborhood where a lot of mediums also lived. They guessed more than four past lives that I later verified with my self-hypnosis.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before?
27 or so when I discovered for real, but I took reincarnation as a possibility since I was a teenager or so. There were signs and stuff much earlier, but I didn't see them as what they possibly were since during the last few years.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?
Not right away. I told a few people that I believe in reincarnation, but they rarely ever are interested in details.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives?
My friend, my mother, my cousin and my aunt. Not too much, as none of them has memories themselves. At least, they don't think I am nuts.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body?
I remember lives as both male and female, but more as a male. In this life, I sometimes feel kinda genderless...

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why?
If you had asked me this years earlier, I might have had a few names on my list, but not any more.
I would prefer not to. It would have to somebody who wasn't involved in war, scandals, scheming, propaganda, what ever and whose work wasn't abused to support such things, it would have to be somebody whose life wasn't full of personal tragedies. It also would have to be somebody who was open-minded and saw every human as equal, including women (!!!). Would prefer somebody who is known as "wise" in any case, but I wouldn't mind to be known as intelligent. Oh, and it would have to be a person who won't abuse animals either. Creative works (music, writing, art) is fine, but... see above. Would prefer some kind of "spiritual teacher" anyway. If you can think of such a person who isn't a true Saint (because a Saint would be impossible), please, tell me. I'll take that person then.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them?
How would I of all people be able to convince a skeptic??? I would need massive validation first, something that cannot be ignored. And that I don't have. Maybe somebody will discover documents or what ever which match some of my memories in the future... in that case, I may try. I would prefer not to get too much attention, though, in any case.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond?
I already have been told “No, you were not” and “This is a sign of mental illness” when I told somebody of a flashback where I saw myself as just any other soldier. When any famous person is involved, like that I was closer to them than just having spotted them from afar as part of a cheering crowd, I only tell people with similar experiences. People from this forum whom I feel I can trust. Kinda feels like touching a hot oven, that I will singe my fingers or bad things will happen... dunno...

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why?
My husband. So that he will understand all the things he has a hard time to understand, because only a person who remembers past lives will truly understand.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life?
The list is long. So I pick just one example.
While you will have to replace a couple words of the lyrics, The Mao Tse Tung Experience – Irregular Times describes how I felt a long time ago very well, in a way.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true?
Nothing detailed. One was too good to be true and can't be true, and parts turned out to be wrong (I am not done yet with my PLs, obviously). Still possible that I had a life 20000 years ago. Impossible to tell without memories.
Another one still needs to be confirmed yet. That I “performed a task” for somebody. That same medium did a reading about my grandfather and only came up with general stuff, so I don't know...
Self-proclaimed mediums told me all kind of stuff, but... yeah.
“You never killed anybody in your past lives.” I would love to believe that, but I really doubt it.
“You were a queen in a past life.” I don't think so. Not only because I don't remember anything in that direction.
“You were a healer in a past life and one day will be a healer again.” Okay, maaaaybe... I don't see why this shouldn't be possible, at least. Again, I don't remember ever having been a healer.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? .... I subconsciously accepted it by about 14, consciously was not until 20 or so. I made many jokes about something being familiar because it was from a past life, or reasoned it might be why certain people are born with different traits, skills, maturity levels, etc. I even had several emotional reactions to past life-related stimuli and said to myself that it was because a certain thing had happened in a past life. Somehow, it took me several more years after reaching that point to sit down and realize that I believed in reincarnation.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? .... The first of my past lives that I consciously rediscovered came through research of sorts and I immediately joked about the familiarity with a friend. They recognized and accepted it as truth before I did, so there never was a chance of it to be a secret.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? .... Yes, several of my friends know: partially because it is a big part of who I am, and partially because the information often involves them as well.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? .... Gender is not really my issue. The new face/head is really more confusing to me. My appearance always looks strange, as though the facial features are just not correct. Additionally, I have a particularly strong mental tie to my life in Japan, so I sometimes catch myself wishing I had my long, silky, black hair back.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? .... Famous past lives...been there, done that, did not agree with me.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? ....That would depend on the person: I would need a more specific knowledge of their attitude and how important they are to me. For the most part: no. I am not the right person to bring people over to the way of the believer, since the more someone came to know about my particular case, the less probable it sounds. In certain cases I would (and do) drop small hints to lead them closer to the truth, but this is often dependent on whether or not I believe they are ever capable of coming around to a new understanding.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? .... If I felt the need to tell them something like that, I would explain some of my process at arriving at that conclusion and some of the memories I had. If they did not at least accept that it is something I believe, then that is their issue. As someone with a famous past life, that is not something I think anyone should willingly divulge unless they know they can trust the person, or unless you are just saying it to get attention.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? ....I would bring my brother. He is about the most "traditionally minded" person that I know, so if he came around to believe me, then the remainder of my family would. Not to mention, he and I seem to have some unresolved karma, so showing him that particular lifetime might shed some light on the subject and help us to work past it together. And I am worried that he may be getting dangerously close to making similar mistakes, so seeing how things did not exactly work out for him last time would be a service to him, or would at least absolve my conscience of any guilt if he did not change after that.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? ....I mostly feel a connection to recreations of old styles of folk music, particularly medieval European. Japanese Noh music is another example. They feel comfortably familiar and I occasionally cannot help but feel as though they are speaking directly to my own experience. A more modern choice would be "Father and Son" by Cat Stevens, as it reminds me a lot of a past life relationship with a father figure and my own stubborn streak.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? ....I have a friend who is a medium, who I have tested several times and seems to have an incredibly high accuracy rate. I occasionally drop a small past life detail I have uncovered and watch them add in more information that I knew but had not divulged. They are more intent to watch me learn the skills though, so I sometimes will explain something I have found and they will reply with "I wondered when you were going to figure that out". Any information I get from this source that I did not already have has never entirely conflicted with my own experience.

Q 1: I was just gone 36

Q 2: In the week that I had my first past life memories I also confronted true evil. I went looking for a priest and instead found myself being drugged and interrogated...so my free choice to decide to tell anyone was robbed from me. Pl information was forced from me.

Q 3: Yes. They don't believe in reincarnation.

Q 4: I can only ever remember being male so I have no issues with my new body.

Q 5: I don't give a crap about fame. My dream is to come back as an anonymous farmer or builder or something, preferably living in a hobbit hole. ;)

Q 6: I don't see any point in trying to convince a skeptic so no...I wouldn't really talk about it. That doesn't mean that I don't wish that my family would understand though.

Q 7: I would change the subject.

Q 8: I would bring my youngest sister. I thought she would have believed me initially but it wasn't to be. I'd like her to understand my pain.

Q 9: Bob Dylan grabs my attention but I doubt its pl related. The Irish song The Foggy Dew resonates with me though. It is about Easter week 1916 and I was there in a pl.

Q 10: Just an online reading. They accurately described my past life death with no prior information though.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before?
As a child I felt old, knew I had lived before, but no clear memories.

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets?
No, never a secret but only shared with people with common interests

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives?
Sure, my best friend knows all.

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body?

I am female now and I remember mostly only female lives.
This doesn’t mean I didn’t have male lives but in my opinion I continue now with my issues being female. The red threads from my female lives.
I am aware that my most recent pl was being male.
The acceptance of my body has always been ambiguous. Literally. Just recently (one or two years ago) I deeply accepted my femininity.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? ....
I would like to come back as a talented classical musician (violin) or as a famous psychologist or as a talented dancer.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? ... Why should I? A skeptic is not interested in my past lives.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? ....probably I would regret having started the conversation.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? ....my than husband of the life I remember most (young girl/mother who for unknown reasons travelled by foot from Silesia to Bohemia/Prague)

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? ....
Too much to mention. I feel connected witch all parts of the world through music.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? ....No.

Q 1: How old were you when you first discovered you lived before? .... 4

Q 2: Did you tell someone right away or did it become one of your biggest secrets? .... It was apparent to my family because I spoke of it.

Q 3: Did you ever tell your friend about your past-lives? .... Yes

Q 4: What gender were you before you came into this life and how do you cope with your new body? .... Male. My new body is sickly, it's my biggest concern.

Q 5: If you had to come back as a famous person who would it be and why? .... Someone with money I'm tired of being poor.

Q 6: If someone you know is a skeptic would you tell them about your own past life to educate them? .... No.

Q 7: If someone gave you a strange look/reaction when you told them that you are Alexander the Great (example) after they said they wouldn't, how would you respond? .... I'd change my opinion of the person.

Q 8: If you had to go back in time to show a person who you were but you can only bring one, who would it be and why? .... Myself so I can see all that I have been.

Q 9: What song(s) instantly grab your attention because they mention something about your past life? ... I like old period music to send myself into a trance.

Q 10: Have you ever got a past life reading from a medium that turned out to be true? .... I've never had a reading.
