Different levels of soul energy

Every time we incarnate, I'm sure we'll all agree, we have to take a certain amount of our energy with us. Maybe its your opinion that we take all our energy, I have no idea. I would like to see all your opinions.

If anyone does share the same view as me that we, for example, may take 65% of our energy into one of our incarnations and then 80% in the next, why would we feel the need to take these certain amounts? Maybe it depends on how hard/easy we expect our life to be due to planning. I personally agree with Newton's theory on this subject. It makes sense, in my opinion.

I also feel it would be important to leave some energy behind to greet loved ones when they pass over, if we have started a new incarnation by then. By taking all our energy, we wouldn't be able to be in two places at once (spirit world and earth).

It's also interesting that some souls can appear exactly as they were in life in terms of their physical appearance. You wouldn't even know that they were dead if one walked past you. I would imagine that this is also due to levels of our energy.

Of course, this is just a couple of my questions/wonders about soul energy. I hope everyone expresses their own wonders and opinions about levels of soul energy and how it may work, whatever they may be.

This is a very daring subject to get into, but an immensely interesting one, as well; for it is difficult to describe things like the fifth dimension in three-dimensional terms. Yet, it is evident by reading about such things as Reincarnation, Near-Death Experiences, After-death communications, Psychic Phenomenon, Ghost Phenomenon, and even Quantum Physics that there may be something beyond our common perceptions that deserves some kind of examination.

So how do we describe colors that we've never seen, sounds never before heard, or feelings never before felt? How do we tie together all the consistent evidence that there are such things? How do we tie together the many stories which suggest that some mysterious portion of our conscious experience can be left behind to haunt a location, or come back in the body of a newborn? What portion of our identity is it that somehow simultaneously connects with others in the past, present and future?

I do not think myself wise enough to attempt an answer to any of these questions, but I can suggest that some of these questions can be better understood by the emerging theories of Quantum Physics, which have inspired some philosophers to suggest that matter and time are illusions, and that only consciousness exists at the sub atomic level. View, for example, this YouTube video of

Moving on to the many anecdotal reports about past-lives, near-death, and ghosts; it would seem to suggest that we don't all incarnate with our full consciousness intact, and that we sometimes seem to leave a part of our experiences behind when we leave. To describe these portions of ourselves in terms of percentages, however, is like describing what portion of us cracks our eggs on the bottom as opposed to the top.

I have often wondered about what part of my own consciousness exists during strange unremembered dreams, or when I have a lapse of memory during waking periods. What part of that is truly me? What part of our consciousness is truly us when we take medications which alter our personality, for example? And when we do perceive the emotions of another person, what part of that experience is us and what part belongs to the other person?

To make yet another leap, it is said that there are various levels of the afterlife in which we experience various levels of what appear to be progress in consciousness from earth-bound experience—in which we continue to identify with our physical existence, eg: having bodies, wearing clothes, walking through verdant fields of unbelievably green grass, etc.—to an elevated consciousness in which we are balls of energy with a virtual connection to everything and everyone else including God.

Somewhere amongst all of these theories and experiences may lie the truth which can only be known and explained by someone who presently exists on the other side. But, it is certain that we are all drawn to such truth in one way or another. I believe, nonetheless, that it is necessary for us to continue searching for the answers wherever we may find them.

Fascinating read, Nightrain. You've raised many questions that really do puzzle the mind. A few of those questions could make a fish drown.

I find it fascinating that our senses could be possibly limited in such a way during our incarnations. I once watched a show here called "The great unexplained debate". There was a doctor, (I can remember his name), who argued that, in our bodies, we are blind and death of our true surroundings. It was his opinion that we only see, hear and feel what we need to. I don't know how it could be proved, or what studies have been conducted to try and find out, but I believe we would be wrong to think that we are in tune with everything around us.

when we do perceive the emotions of another person, what part of that experience is us and what part belongs to the other person?
I have also wondered similar things such as this. I believe its widely understood that everything is energy, even our thoughts. When someone dies, their thoughts are likely to still be floating around out there. With this said, how do we know that some memories we randomly get are even our own? This may also apply to people who become depressed for no reason. Everything seems to be going great for them and suddenly they're trapped in a cloud of negative emotions. They may be suffering from the depression of someone else who could have started a new life by then.

I've also heard this. I think it makes sense and the first step being crossing over 'into the light' after death. I've heard via Newton's studies and people having NDE's that music is commonly heard. The people simply describe the music as vibrations of energy. I have even heard of stories about people who have actually died in hospital, for example, in a lot of pain waiting to die. Just before their time is up, they become pain free and say they can hear beautiful music. I suppose this may assist a soul when going through different levels of existence, as well as matching their current energy levels to relax them.

I will be watching that youtube video tomorrow. Thank you! :)

my feeling is that the non-local awareness is far more vast and infinite than any of us care to imagine, so I think it would be unlikely that anyone would have 60% or even 80% of their energy in a body, I think it is more likely we are only the tip pf the iceberg. If you read the holographic universe there is the idea that energy can be divided into an infinite number of parts, so how can you put a percentage on something that is infinite? That would only apply to finite things.

However I do know for a fact that there can be insufficient energy in a persons body as a result of trauma etc (see the other thread on soul loss and soul retrieval.) So when looking at a human being which is finite we can say that the person has insufficient soul energy, but if the source of that energy is infinite in nature how could we ever say that there is X% of someone's energy in any given body?

And, here we have hit upon the key to understanding soul energy—what we identify as our soul may be only the tip of the iceberg. Just as each cell in our body is only an infinitesimal part of what we identify as our "self", each self may be only an infinitesimal part of our soul.

I once read something many years ago that described each of us as little fingers reaching into an aquarium. If you have ever looked into an aquarium while sticking your fingers in, you would have noticed that the fingers didn't appear to be connected to anything, because the angle of your view made the surface of the water appear as a mirror. By this analogy the writer suggested that we are all little fingers of God reaching into the world and thinking that we are individuals; while, in fact we are all connected. We cannot see how we are connected, because we can only see in the physical world of three dimensions.

Sometimes, when we become so immersed in the physical world, it may seem that we are cut off from each other, and we sense a loss of energy, as if a portion of our soul has left us. But I believe we are every bit as connected. There was an experiment involving kirlian photography some years ago in which a portion of a living leaf was cut off and thrown away. However, the photograph taken afterward still showed the energy of the complete leaf.

Although some critics have claimed that such photographs are easy to fake, the truth behind the concept is well-known among people who have lost limbs and experienced the phantom limb phenomenon. To further exemplify this truth, how many of us have lost a loved one and felt as though a part of us was missing? The connection is still there, but we have grown too comfortable that it is purely physical and not spiritual. We know that cells in our bodies die every second, but don't we still comprehend that our bodies are still complete? When the stakes grow larger and organs begin to die, we find it harder to comprehend that we are still complete, but we still manage to identify our selves as complete. So, when our entire body dies, are we still complete? Of course!

We are all connected at the level of the crown chakra, or the causal plane. However while in these bodies we have six other chakras and planes of existence to worry about, each with their own degree of separation. The physical world is the plane with the highest level of separation.

The picture of the leaf shows that everything has an energy and that things often exist on an energetic level before they become physical, often clairvoyants can see illness in a persons aura weeks or months before a person becomes physically ill. Normally when the soul energy is no longer present in a person it is normally replaced by some other type of energy which often causes disease, this energy can normally be seen clairvoyantly as black or another unhealthy color in the chakras, and then in the entire aura.

While the soul itself cannot be destroyed it can actually partially disassociate from the body, leaving insufficient energy in the body. This is called soul loss, at one level it can create listlessness and depression, at a higher degree cancer, at a higher level coma and the highest being death. Even a dead body still has a very basic energy, much like the picture of the leaf, but there is a huge difference between the aura of a living body and a dead one, a living person has a much broader and layered energy field, while a dead one just gives off a small glow, much like the leaf. This leads me to think of soul loss as something literal, not symbolic, and that different energy levels and different types of soul energy can exist in a persons aura and body as all of this can be seen clairvoyantly.

Here is an interesting article on the aura of the dying written by psychic Robert Bruce:

http://www.astraldynamics.com/clairvoyance/how-see-auras.php

here is a small excerpt, but I would recommend reading the entire article.

The colours of the main aura begin to fade and change slowly during the few months prior to death. This continues until there is only a faint tint of colour left in it; giving it a washed-out look. The etheric aura (the thin band of pale-blue or creamy aura next to the skin) also fades rapidly during this time. It shrinks a little more each day and pales until it is almost undetectable. The natural bioenergetic recharging process slows as the energy body prepares itself for its approaching demise, and the transition of its essential animating spirit into another dimension of existence.
At the moment of death, as a doorway cracks open into a higher reality and the spirit is drawn through it, all free energy can be drawn into it, including the emotional energy being vented by mourners. This can create an unnaturally cold feeling around any newly deceased person.

After death, the atmosphere in the room carries a shocked kind of feeling -- that's the only way to really describe it. This is caused by the terrific forces that were work during the death process. You can feel this hanging in the atmosphere wherever there has been a recent death; especially if you are a sensitive. Depending on the nature of the death in question, this atmosphere generally fades away over a few days. But in an area where there has been a violent or massive loss of life, this shocked feeling can persist for months or even years.

The discarded physical body is now left with only a very weak ethereal glow around it; swiftly fading to nothing. This is barely detectable even with the strongest level of auric sight. This is residual etheric matter and not living aura. This fades away very quickly and nothing more will be seen of the living aura around the corpse. You will see only a pale outline, such as you can see around any inanimate object.

Thanks for that link - more reading for me::thumbsup:

Some of the language used in the thread is rather different to what I would use - but I'll take what I can from it and think on....

An interesting concept re the aura of a person changing in the few months before death. I was wondering about this - from a recent episode where I had been sitting beside my parents for a while....I knew I had been....but realised afterwards that it had "felt" like my mother wasnt there. I'm getting used to not quite "feeling" my father there (even though he is). I'm wondering whether part of her was "elsewhere" trying to accompany my father. I don't quite know/understand what is happening - because I've never been in these circumstances before.

I shall be thinking further re depression as maybe being a partial "soul withdrawal" (ie the person doesn't wish to be here on Earth - but part of them still feels they "should" be - so they stay, but are depressed).

Hmmm...q6gif....which brings me neatly back to wondering whether I'm correct in thinking that there comes a point in our lives where most of us could "will all our Energy onwards" (ie deliberately decide to move on to a Higher Place) and our decision alone would be enough for us to do so (ie without having to take any physical action to do so).

Right now - I'm watching my father deliberately will himself to stay alive (ie because he doesn't want to leave my mother on her own#G^H) - so I can see the evidence of my own eyes there as to how a person can make a deliberate decision to stay alive longer than they were due to.

What I don't know is whether the same thing can operate in reverse - ie someone could deliberately decide to withdraw all their "Energy" from their body and just leave. Part of me thinks "Surely it must be possible - at least for some people - and one of my grandmothers would appear to have done that from what I'm told". Another part of me thinks "That can't be the case though - otherwise why would there be lots of lonely ill old people eking out an unhappy existence in some of those awful care homes we have here in England? Surely they would just decide to withdraw their Energy in a more lucid moment?". I tend to think that the reason people continue with "a life not worth living" must be because they don't have the same belief I do (ie that one moves to a much Better Place afterwards) and are scared to withdraw their Energy - because they believe there is nothing or some sort of Hell or something afterwards, but that if they thought the way I do then they would be able to/would "withdraw".

Interesting idea Kris. I too, have read Newton and find alot of his findings hold water for me. I am not so sure about what he has written as to how much energy it takes to drive an incarnate being...I know he indicated some level of percentages of soul energy but any quantity, whether with regard to this topic or others seems to not carry much weight in the grand scheme "over there".

To me, a soul is so large and powerful that the energy requirement sourced from a soul to a human being is not a significant quantity. The image I got from guidance was the picture of a finger dipped in a glass of water. While our soul is fully aware of what we are doing while incarnate, the impression I am getting is that it is also "fully employed", or doing so many other things that souls do (after asking I was told mine is watching another current incarnation, examining and collating past life data, planning future incarnations, providing guidance to other incarnates, and some other "aspect of creation").
