the following was explained to me by way of touch to my shin using the alphabet..
We were exposed to a bad spirit...the reason being negative thoughts..when i asked about theis gift im said to have i was told to " read echo " then i asked further and was told " light book". Sorry if a bit obscure but typed it exactly as it was told to me.
I do fear very little and am trying to really hard understand all of this and want to embrace it but for me who has been very sceptical at best for 46yrs or so it is hard to understand...the first thing is WHY ? Then how ? I suppose its a case of accepting it as it is ? Rather than question it. But how do i use this gift ? Im told its not just for me but for others.?
Thanks for replies so far
Okay, an echo (by its nature) is a fading, reflected version of an original sound. If you think of yourself as standing on a cliff and shouting, you will hear your own voice in an echo as if someone else were talking to you. They may be pointing out that many of these interactions are an externalized form of communication with your subconscious self. Based on your experiences until now, it seems that a lot would be explained by this theory.
Only you can know if it is true. If it is, there are easier ways to communicate, as you can see if you read how others on the forum interact with their guides and past lives via meditation. Now that you are convinced that this is real, you have options that you would not have considered otherwise.
There are many "light books" out there, all describing other's experiences with past lives, religion, mythology, and communication with their own unconscious or beings on the other side of the veil. I've read many of them at this point, and the information I have found most reliable is a result of the overlap of shared experiences, not a single book or idea.
I'd recommend reading widely. Go through your library's religious, psychic-science (there are a lot of books these days by various scientists as well as personal experiences with research), mythological, and esoteric sections and think through whether all these sources fit together with your own experience in any way.
The books that "contain light" are going to stand out with "Aha!" moments containing pieces of information that you need, or that reflect your situation in a new light.
Note: One vital piece of information doesn't mean the entire book (or the person who wrote it) is now your primary resource, just that your inner guide has helped you find something necessary to your progress. I've learned from some of the most inaccurate and fallible sources out there, so ... take my experience for what it's worth and don't get too stuck in one person's perspective, even your own.
Also, you get to filter who is permitted to access your life. However, it's not merely a mental command but who you are that will create the filter.
If you are focused on angry, hateful, arrogant, selfish, disrespectful thoughts toward yourself or others, then that which supports you in those attitudes or desires will have the space to connect with you and use that state for its own purposes.
However, the moment you realize this and choose compassion, kindness, respect, awareness of your limitations, and intention for good in your own life and others' it limits the access harmful beings have to you.
Seeing this attitude as light will help you consciously frame the idea visually. Light exposes what is hidden and also automatically eliminates the darkness (or unconsciousness) that can shadow your choices. Your imagination is part of how you see the world, after all. Use it well, and it will support you with the tools you need to protect your relationships and improve your life.
