Famous people

Fame .... Interesting! Now as for myself and my past lives. Now have been both where I was famous and not famous. I was very well known in the Boston area at the time of the Am. Revolution. Also became well known when I was a fur trapper and fur trader in the American West. There has been a book or two written about that life that is out in the book stores now. But how many that were involved in the fur trade at that time became famous. But then a number of lives that were not so famous or famous period. In this present life have became well known among some Greater Yellowstone Country aficiandos for my wilderness wanderings. And have actually been mentioned in several books because of such. Some people are always telling me that I should write a book on all my wilderness experiences I have had in life with all of my wilderness wanderings. But so far have chosen not to whatsoever. I don't really want that fame and such. I desire to be able to go about this present life enjoying life and everything with continuing to wander in the wilds. Personally do think there is soooo much in life that fame will actually get in the way sometimes.

Wishing Everyone the Best!

Hey ! I also had a life as a trapper. But it was not in west America. It was in Canada, Québec exactly, on the north coast along river Bersimis. It was at the beginning of 20th century. I was friend with innu natives. It's one of them who teached me how to trap when I was young. But I was not famous this time, in fact so anonymous that I couldn't find any trace of this life.

You never hear about the past life guy who cleaned up after horses, or the bathroom attendant, everyone always wants to be either Cleopatra or some historical figure. I find that the more ordinary a person is the richer a life they've had.

Personally I'd prefer to be just Jim. Reincarnations a headache to be honest, yet in my own experience the hardest lesson I've learned is in an anonymous life, but that kind of life is no more complicated than an FPL in my experience. All being famous in a past life means is that one effects more souls on ones journey than the average joe. There's some heavy karma there. The only thing I'm relieved about is not being famous in my current life. History doesn't need my brand of 'fame'. May I have many more anonymous lives because that will mean I'm doing something right.

If you never heard about anonymous lives you didn't read what everybody told in the forum or elsewhere. There are more lots of non famous past lives than famous ones.
Among others I had a life in ancient Greece where my occupation was to clean statues. Great job ! And in another one I was a thief or a poacher. I had also lives as fisherman or peasant.
I read testimonies from people who where slaves or prisoners, some with poor lives who died young.
Famous or not, all lives have the same value and can teach you something.

When I was talking with my sister about my wikipedia past life (oh God lol), and I put forth this issue of "when it is about a past life, everyone is a famous queen, or king, or public figure etc.", she argued that that must be the memories of hardnesses, traumas, exceptional things that one may have had to go through, or participate, that may stick to the mind... It could be an explanation, I think.

I have had one dream long ago, I was in my early 20s, and I was sit on a sofa near a bookcase, and I was digging gingerly into my pipe with a small stick . I didn't know what it meant then. Now I know that is the way people clean their pipes -- yes? My mom told me about that, being almost sure it was a cleaning procedure, and lsome years later I checked on Google. I really don't know where that came from, but I like to think that it was a past memory coming through a dream --- and that would explain many things about my own stuff. And also there was one dream, a more frightening one, with beard/hair-soaked, mud grey-faced standing men holding spears or long tools (cant place which), and they were murmuring to me: nesteia / no food. But dreams are always dreams, and Freud may explain them... or not! ;)

I was famous in my past life, solemnly because of the crimes I committed. Otherwise, I was really a "nobody" so to speak. Had I not committed the atrocities I did, I wouldn't have been known. I'd rather not be famous, especially considering why I was. Now, I'm back to just being a "nobody" again. ;)

I've led a few lives - one of which that has (recently) become a lot more famous than before. It's, as some people on here said, a lot more difficult to "come out of the closet", so to speak, as a once-famous person, but I'll gladly share my experience with you if you want :)

My first memory resurfaced when I was just 8 years old, and only later was I able to identify who it was by gluing together the memories and recognizing my "murderer" in a painting - I've been one of the founding fathers. Feel free to message me if you're interested in hearing my views on the matter.

A.

Hi Mr. Mann and welcome to the forum :)

I don't mind sharing, but I'm curious why you're interested? Have you had memories of a famous past life yourself?

I think it's important when you deal with a 'famous past life' that you remember that it's 'just another' incarnation. There are many people, who are sceptic about famous past lives - with good reason. 'Famous past lives' are too easy to verify through written accounts, books, movies, etc. It can be very hard to know what is a 'true' past life memory and what is just imagination or your mind being influenced by something you've been interested in.

Fame is so many different things. Historical figures, movie stars or mass murderes - having a 'famous past life' is not very nuanced, because 'fame' in itself isn't important, but the life you lived is - sometimes (usually) those two are not the same. That is the real test of a famous past life, because anyone can say that they were Tuth Ankh Amon or Anne Boleyn, but often - when people describe their memories - they revolve around what is historically known, their achievements, how they died, how history portrayed them. However, what if the important thing in their life was the relationship between them and a sister or parent, something within or between them that history didn't write down?

I have shared my 'famous' past life several times on this forum, however I have never been concrete as to who this person was. It's not really important. She was just a woman of her time, decisions were made for her, decisions that for a short time brought her into the center of attention and thus into the history books. However my memories of her are glimpses of a life that doesn't appear famous, but are thoughts of any woman, feelings that I recognize today, feelings of happiness, sorrow, etc. The only reason why I know I was her are dreams and an intense feeling of recognition when I look at her portrait (not the official one though ;) ) and the portraits of her family, particularly her brother and sister.

In many ways I'm very like her today. Certainly, I live in a different time, I'm a modern woman, who make my own choices, but I think I've learnt from her how to find positive things in a situation that I didn't choose, to stay positive and strong.

I believe I was Anne of Cleves, the fourth wife of Henry VIII.
You were Cleves??? So glad you didn't get your head lopped off!!!!
