    What Memory Would You Keep?

Besides that, family, friends, my cats, my writing, and my love for college basketball

What do you miss the most from a PL?

I think what I really miss most is the bookshop cat I had in mid-18th century England. She might have been my first cat, but she wasn't my last.

What is the oddest talent you have

This might not mean much except to other writers, but I knew how to correctly hold a pencil the first time one was given to me. I instinctively knew proper punctuation and grammar before I reached the grade in which it was taught. I also have been able to "write to page". That means that when...

    Reincarnation "evidence"

Wonderful comment. I feel personal belief is much more valid than any organized religion's dogma, no matter how sincerely its followers believe the dogma. The best evidence for me is the one past life I know of for certain, and numerous others that I have had some echoes of.

    Compulsive Hoarders

I don't hoard, but I do stockpile canned goods and many other things, such as batteries, file cards, bandages, Scotch tape, corn cob pipes, etc, etc, etc. I figure I do it because I'm my father's son, and as a child of the Great Depression, he always stockpiled. So I think a lot of things in...

Beyond Our Basic Belief In Reincarnation?

I'm proud to say I never have and never will text. It simply doesn't make sense to me, plus I feel I have better ways of spending my time. And the only time my very basic cell phone is on is when I need to make a call. People can reach me on my regular phone,

Beyond Our Basic Belief In Reincarnation?

Yes, my video-game reference in part was brought about by one of your posts. And I do agree with you that we're all on the same path, just walking at our on pace. It's more important that we believe, rather than that we are all in complete agreement.

Beyond Our Basic Belief In Reincarnation?

Most, if not all of us, believe in reincarnation to some degree. But beyond that basic belief, I’m sure that we all vary in the details of our individual beliefs. But just how much do we differ? I’m nearing 65, & have believed strongly in reincarnation for close to 60 years, although at first I...

    How Would It Affect You...

Based on how modern science keeps changing their minds/opinions about such things as if daily multivitamins are good for us or not, why would we simple accept what they might happen to say about reincarnation?

    How Would It Affect You...

It wouldn't bother me in the least because I wouldn't accept it. I know for a fact, in my heart and soul, that reincarnation happens. This is one What If game that I won't play, since I know I've lived before.

What would happen if Reincarnation could be proven in Court?

I don't happen to agree. I think the purpose of living is our soul's spiritual development and progression. Life itself can be fun, but there's more to it I believe.

What would happen if Reincarnation could be proven in Court?

It may be interesting to play What If, as if it were all a game, but it isn't. Remember that we aren't, and won't be, who we were in the past, in this life. Past life memories don't translate into current life action.

Is scientific proof of Reincarnation important?

Well, for one thing, I don't believe we have as much say so or control over our future lives as some people do. I feel our upcoming lives are based on what our souls still need to learn. We might have some general input into what our next life might be, but I don't think we get to design it as...

    Boomerang Effect (Reincarnation and NDE)

An interesting concept presented in a way I had never considered. Thanks for giving something to ponder.

Is scientific proof of Reincarnation important?

On a personal level no. But I can see where it might benefit mankind if 1, there was scientific proof, and 2, if the fact of reincarnation were more universal. Since persons not aware of the fact of reincarnation still reincarnate, it would be to their advantage to understand about their past...

Will we ever stop incarnating and when did it start?

I don't believe I'm "only human". I have touched base, so to speak, with my spiritual side quite often. Of course, our spiritual side is muted, or masked, when we are in human form, so we have to work at realizing our spiritual nature. We can do this through meditation, regression therapy, etc...

If you remember a past life now, can you remember it again in your next life?

I pretty much agree with Tinkerman. But I think we only remember details from past lives that will help us in our spiritual growth. Our human side seems to inhibit our ability to learn and grow, so we might need to experience certain things multiple times.

How do you remember: flashbacks, dreams, meditation, regressions or...??

You might want to check out the thread and poll How We Perceive Past Life Memories, which a search should help you find.

    The Rolling of Souls

The book sounded so interesting, I just found a used copy at a great price on Amazon. Thanks for mentioning it.

    Fear of the return ticket

What I mean by Recycled Soul is that our soul is on a journey to learn different and varied life lessons. Our basic human personality isn't what is progressive, but our soul's collected Personality, for want of a better term. I don't believe that we are alone in deciding the details of each...
