No one can give you an ultimate answer, there only are possible answers. There are rules for this forum. It might not appear to be totally logical why this is allowed to discuss here while that is not, but these are the rules and they are there for a reason. There are other forums where such topics are allowed. I am sorry for your loss. If "my" cat died today, I would be devastated. I do understand why you so desperately want answers. Animals are such wonderful friends. They do not judge you. Their affection is honest, as they won't lie (even though a cat would do a lot to get something they would love to eat). What about your other dog? He deserves to be loved, too. He deserves your love and attention as much as Twinkle did. After over two years, maybe you should try to let go. Not forget Twinkle, of course. You will never forget her. But maybe you should try to let go of the pain and feeling of loss and focus on fond, loving memories instead? And give your love to your living dog. Easier said than done, I know. If you wish, I will give you a link to a forum where you can discuss topics that are not wanted here. I cannot promise, though, that others will be able to give you the answers you seek.
