playingforchange.com - From the award-winning documentary, "Playing For Change: Peace Through Music", comes the first of many "songs around the world" being released independently. Featured is a cover of the Ben E. King classic by musicians around the world adding their part to the song as it travelled the globe.

Thanks Deborah. May I add this song that was written and played by jazz saxophonist, Jimmy Greene. It's called Ana Grace, and it was dedicated to his 6 year old daughter, Ana Marquez-Greene, who tragically lost her life in the Sandy Hook shooting:

Media reports have identified Ana as the daughter of jazz saxophonist Jimmy Greene, who had just started a new job at Western Connecticut State University..
The child's grandmother, Elba Marquez, said the family had moved to Connecticut from Canada, drawn in part by Sandy Hook's glowing reputation.

"It was a beautiful place, just beautiful. What happened does not match up with the place where they live," she said.

Ms Marquez said Ana's nine-year-old brother was also at the school, but escaped safely.

Jimmy Greene named a composition after Ana, 'Ana Grace' on his 2009 album, 'Mission Statement'.

That was beautifully done, something positive in this new, and good for a change, 'electronic' age
