Hi everyone I have recently been viewing a lot of posts and I have seen a few posts similar to my question that were vaguely answered so I figured id just make a new thread to see if it gets any answers.

My question is, do you think we get to create our figure ie looks, gender, height, weight, etc. before reincarnating? I have grown up loving basketball ever since the age of 3 and have had huge ties to it but there is only 1 problem that alludes me, I am only 5'9. I would prefer to be reincarnated as a man who is 7 foot tall and slender I could give a crap about if im good looking or my race I just want the height and athleticism to be able to compete competitively on a professional stage in basketball.

I know this is wishful thinking and reincarnation is more about learning lessons rather than wanting to be famous, but I don't really care about the fame or the money or material objects. Don't get me wrong I would love to be more attractive (not the best looking guy by any means) but the most I care about is a body template that would allow me to succeed in what I love to do.

I dont care about traveling really, seeing the world, doing abstract things, etc. I just care about basketball and trying to do it at its best. I'm sorry if you guys arent really interested in sports and i dont really blame you, I guess my question is just about being able to create a template if you have spent life living in a shitty one. Don't get me wrong I believe god created everyone to be unique in their own way, but being the short ugly guy does not really have its perks.

I have been bullied my whole life, never fit in due to being 2 races mixed growing up in a southern state, look kind of odd, and never succeeded in academics or a job field. I wasted my high school always wanting to fit in, doing drugs to try and relate with drug friends, and what has alluded me the most is companionship. My dad and I don't have much of the same interests, I dont have any friends, no girlfriend, and contracted herpes from some dirty girl that I hooked up with at a bus station (lol gross I know). I was even homeless multiple times having to spend months in a homeless shelter and scrambling just to find a place to stay and eat food.

What I am trying to get at is I've been less fortunate than others in almost every sense of trying to enjoy life (companionship, finding a job, succeeding in school, having a soul group, etc.) Sorry this is so lengthy Im just trying to get you guys to understand where I am coming from. I believe in reincarnation as an option for those who did not have the best lives growing up or currently, and believe that due to these unfortunate circumstances you get the right to right the ship a little bit by at least by being able to create your own template.

Like I said I could give a crap about my looks or my race or any of that stuff if I could just have a 7 foot athletic body so I could dominate in what I love. I feel like I have unfinished business on this earth due to hours after hours spent watching basketball, analyzing it, and growing to appreciate the game for what it is. All the other stuff would fall into place if you can succeed at a certain field. Thanks for reading, and please please give some answers for me :)

Sometimes it's not having the "perfect body" that allows you to excel at something, but having the determination and ability to use what you do have in surprising ways.

Some people win the genetic lottery for basketball and couldn't care less about playing. Wouldn't it be ironic if your next incarnation got the body and wanted to be a musician instead? If you love basketball then apply yourself to building up the skills to surprise first yourself and eventually the world around you. You don't need permission or perfection to excel in this life.

Or, if you prefer, there are many life paths related to basketball. Examples: You could become a coach. You could teach/play basketball in other countries. You could start a local team. Each of these (and many other) paths could be very fulfilling if you choose to invest yourself in them.

You've probably seen this already, but a reminder might encourage you somewhat: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/remembering-nba-best-players-5-article-1.2513727

And, yes, people often say they chose their physical traits in some way. It's not impossible. But who's to say you can't use what you've got already? Maybe that's the challenge?

Hey thanks for your reply! Believe me I have tried training and perfecting my craft recently as much as I can, but in reality basketball is a tall mans sport. Not saying its impossible, but incredibly hard for someone of my stature. Yes that would be ironic if I get the body and am not interested in the sport lol. Thanks for your thoughts

What I learned during my regressions, and what I currently believe, is that after you die the "entity" that reincarnates isn't the "you that you are now".

That "entity" has other perspective on things, has other goals than its incarnations had. And this is expected, considering the enormous number of incarnations the "entity" had, which were very different in personality, and everything.

For that "entity" (call it whatever you want: soul, higher / inner self, ...) the "you that just died" is relatively unimportant, pretty much the way you are looking now at the "you from your dreams".

Thanks for your reply! So you are saying that I won't even be interested in basketball in my next life for a profession? I will be completely different? Interesting. Never thought of it that way
