Hello everyone.. my first post is probably going to sound off, so bear with me.
Since I was a kid, I felt like I was in the wrong country. One day, I took notice of the Canadian flag for the first time and it looked so familiar.
Fast forward to being a teenager. That's when the dreams started. I began to dream of a cold, snow covered city with a beautiful old building. Behind me, I glanced behind to see an ice covered river.
That's the most frequent but there's more of them.
As I grew older, the feelings of disquiet kicked in. I didn't want to settle down in the US. I put it aside until much later in life.
Then came the Great Shock to my life. I was walking past a travel agency in Eugene, Oregon and in the window, a huge poster hung of a beautiful old building!
The exact building that haunted my dreams every night!
Underneath the building were the words 'Bon Secour Merchant Building Montreal.'
Oh my.. Montreal! I was so shocked. I went inside, asked for a brochure and when I opened it, I felt like I knew the city.
Oddly, I have the food tastes and attitude of a Quebecker. I love poutine, hockey and other issues. And I am learning French quickly.
The first time I went to Montreal, I felt like I had come home. I didn't even bother with the map I had and found myself moving around the city like I had been born and raised there. I knew instinctively how to move around Mont Royal and the Metro.
So, based on all of this, I suspect I lived in Montreal.

I just looked online for a photo of that building, it is indeed beautiful. I can understand it being memorable for someone seeing it during their lifetime in that area. Your experiences sound consistent and make sense as having a past-life in that place.

Another past life dream but this one is different. I heard speech and managed to look around at the scenerym
In the dream, I was on a payphone outside a garage. I called home and asked in English, Mummy, can you come and give me a lift? My car is in the garage! The voice on the other end said I will be right there. Where are you? I said, Rue St. Timothee and Mont Royal Nord.
I looked around me. Big cars like a Plymouth and a VW bug were next to me. I was wearing clothes I didn't recognize and they were antique by today's standards.
Before I awakened, a woman pulled up in a very big 1950 station wagon and she was smiling at me. Dark hair and beautiful green eyes.

As soon as this hell virus has lifted, I plan to return to Montreal and show my partner the city I love and call home. Before I make Big Move, I want to make sure we are in complete agreement. If not, then I will compromise with visits through the year.
Please clear up, COVID 19. I am Soo homesick!

Another pl dream last night: a demonstration of some sort. I am watching people walk past and listening to the shouting. I turn to leave but i awaken before I can see anything else.

Whoa.. That is one spectacular church! (The modern one) I think it should be ranked right up there with the St Basil and Notre Dame!
The pictures of the foundation just exude history.... I love that!

I hear you. I remember being a kid and trying to convince my mom that I was Italian. I'm really not (not enough to claim it anyway) and no one in my family has ever been to Italy. Took Latin in high school and the words came super easy to me and I can pick up Romance languages fairly quickly.

Come to find out I had a PL in Rome. When I was a kid I could see something my kid brain interpreted as some kind of bizarre maze; it was the part of the Colosseum that's now visible on the ground level. The part with all the pulleys and diy elevators.

Not sure I'd want to go back to the colosseum in this life, but I'd love to go to Italy for a visit.

Klaud, that would an eye opener for you! I think once this mess settles, people are seriously look at each other and want to see the world.
    Maybe I am overly optimistic.

I'm not entirely opposed to a Colosseum visit, but going back to where I died isn't a super appealing idea tbh

If if ever get the money, Italy is definitely on my list of places to visit though.

It is perhaps strange to me that despite me having visited 2 cities where I lived in a past life it still never felt like home to me, I suppose home is where the heart is and I don't know, I had the feeling I never quite belonged. I feel at home when I am at the beach, where ever I am. If it was up to me I would live next to the beach where the weather is warm. Recently I have felt a stronger and stronger pull towards New Orleans, I think that was home to another past life me, as if home is where the heart is, she did not live there but visited.

Well theoretically that Church no longer stands and in its place is the current Prague Castle and its entire complex of Churches, Garden and other such buildings. One of the main churches is St Vitus Cathedral here:

Also my past life self’s body as ‘St Ludmila of Bohemia’ is interred here in a special chapel of St George’s Basilica. It is the oldest Church in the entire Prague Castle complex.

So there’s my attraction to one geographical place. Prague, Bohemia. To me, it’s ‘home’. I long to visit there again, as it will feel as if I am going to ‘home on earth’ if you know what I mean..

I’m attracted to Rome (the city, the Roman Republic was huge!). When I visited there it was like coming home.

However, the soul doesn’t have to experience time sequentially. It can remember (or possibly even re-experience through multi-verses) a lifetime then jump ahead or backwards as it pleases. It exists outside of time.

Our soul (being multidimensional) knows nothing but love and connection to everywhere we are and have been. I think there’s knowledge and growth waiting for the aspect of our soul that has chosen a storyline of avoidance of one place and peace in another.

Rome feels like home because I had love and power. I avoid Berlin like the plague (one of my best friends wants to move there because her children are there) because I associate it with a lifetime that was cut short much too soon. But my soul knows that I didn’t loose anything and facing the pain of the loss would alleviate certain anxieties and give me back some of the love I felt in Berlin.
