Past Life Regression for Children -

Past life regression with children is a very new field in the United States, and there are only a handful of therapists who work with children. If you feel that your child needs this type of therapy, contact A.P.R.T. for their referral list. Make sure you feel comfortable with the qualifications of the practitioner before you take your child to them.

A hypnotherapist who regularly works with children my be able to do a regression with a child. Some may be experienced in hypnotizing children but don’t advertise it because it is still controversial in medical circles.

Very young children—those under seven years old—do not generally make good subjects for hypnosis. Older children, however, often make excellent subjects and can be easily hypnotized.

For the very young children with spontaneous memories, your best strategy may be simply to follow the recommendations in Children's Past Lives.

Carol does not do regressions with children under the age of 11. But is available for consultations with parents who feel that their child is experiencing a past life memory and need more help understanding what is happening beyond what is said in her two books. (The Reincarnation Forum can sometimes be helpful too.) If you feel you have a special case, Carol would be happy to discuss this with you by phone.
