Questions on the spiritual meaning of thanksgiving

I have recently started making video's on youtube. I am planning on making a video between sunday and tuesday for Thanksgiving. It would help me greatly if someone could help give me some personal insight on the spiritual signifigance of the holiday.

For me. Its about family. Family changes with time, from my early age when I was the youngest, to current when I am among the older generation. Faces around the table change, but they are all family. Even if the family is a group of friends, its still about sharing food and stories with those we connect with most closely.

Sharing food is an ancient tradition. Sharing food and stories can turn enemies into friends.
