I was wondering if anyone else has read the novel The Red Tent. I finished it recently and it was one of those reads that gripped me with some kind of lingering familiarity. For you readers out there... it was a good one. ~Tman

    Hi Tman,

This is, indeed, a very good book. I read it some years back. I suppose it would be considered by most to be a "woman's novel" in terms of the characters, narrator, plot, etc. However, to me it was just great story telling, characterization, etc. with a truly unique "spin" (from my perspective) on the Biblical narrative--and one that is not very flattering to the Biblical characters involved. Anyhow, a very good read.

    Cordially,
    S&S
