Lifetimes you don't hear about often

Wow, that's interesting. My step-family is Catholic, while some of my family is Church of Christ, I ended up choosing Church of God. When my step-niece was 4/5 she had a very advanced knowledge of the Catholic religion, how sermons were lead, the types of artifacts they used, especially about angels and gifts they'd give to kings. I was kind of floored by it when she'd incorporate it into her games but at the same time I understood where she was coming from because of my unexplainable amount of knowledge about medieval England and connections to France between the medieval period/early 1800s. I think I was very involved in studying and in my community as well but I think I also had some kind of a sanctuary to go to for introspection. I don't think it was India because my skin was too light but was there some country in the eastern continents where they'd have shallow pools that were rectangular shaped, arranged in patterns where there were some kind of glimmery stone around the sides? There are also walls around them, not really high but not really low either. I think it might have been whatever upper class was referred to as in that place or that version of débutante.

My Mum was the daughter of the man who owned hougemont farm which Wellington garrisoned during the Battle of Waterloo (1815) she was 20 and helped treat wounded soldiers there after the battle(including myself)

my sis recalls a life in Australia

She says she was squatting and carving figures from rock (she does this now as a hobby) - she heard the sound of a digiridoo in the background, and felt like it was just another day. She felt that she was an aborigine - I've forgotten whether male or female and she never indicated a time period.

She also says she remembers being shown life here on earth before she was born. She saw my mother - who has suffered from depression all of our lives - crying in despair. Sis says that there was someone with her, and they were telling her that if she went forward with this choice it was not going to be easy. But she says that she told them that she wanted to come -- she wanted to bring more love into the world and that they said okay. It's your choice.

Funny thing about that is, when she was two years old, my little sister would go around telling anybody who would listen that she wanted to "go home". Nobody could figure out what she meant. She says now that she really remembers thinking that things were far worse than she expected and she sort of wanted to "go back" and make a different choice.

Since I don't have any clear recall of my own, this is fascinating to me. I expect that if and when it's time I'll start to remember more.

Wow !!

I just had to reply to your piece about your sister - I know this strays from the thread subject but I remember being between lives and basically being asked by someone (i always think it was an angel - 'Raphael' ? who someone said was 'my' angel once) if i would consider being reborn. I wasn't quite ready, they said, but someone really needed my help, (that person was my current Mother and) i (obviously) agreed to be reborn if it would help the person - It was implied to me too that things weren't going to be easy.I don't recall being shown her though. Knowing partly what i'm / was for has meant a lot to me.

In addition to that similarity, i was often heard declaring that i wanted to go home when i was little too - but the big difference is (i believe) that the thought was with me from my previous life in the Great War, where i wanted to go home to Scotland when i was dying..or that as a tiny child 'Home' was the battlefields where i last was alive!

My husband had a past life memory as a Roman foot soldier. He remembers telling new guys not to be heroes, because it would get them all killed. He fought in many campaigns. (Today he has an affinity for Hadrian's wall.) He survived to retirement age and was given a tract of land for his service to Rome. He says he remembers lying on a grassy hillside with his sheep and gazing up at the stars when he passed away.

Hi Toni,

How great it is that you and your husband share the belief in reincarnation and that you can exchange memories. Do you think you have been together before?

Eevee

Hi Eevee,

Your name reminds me of my oldest daughter's favorite Pokemon she had several years ago! :) It was called an Eevee and looked rather like a fox with two tails. :)

As for your question, yes, we have been together many times. He was my husband in one of the lives I mentioned in the "how you died" thread, and I know we have a long list of other lifetimes together. He is more sceptical about it than I am, but when he had this experience of living as a Roman soldier, it really helped convince him that there may be some validity to it. He has always had an affinity to ancient Rome and to England. He's also quite the strategist. He used to play a lot of war-related games like Risk... he always won through some unexpected battle strategy. We even bought a replica of a Roman short sword that we keep put away. When we saw it, he couldn't keep his eyes off it.

ballerina

Quote from Deborah:

For example, my niece was a Russian Ballerina in her last life. She was very famous but was burned horribly in a car accident and remained in hiding until her death later in life. If anyone knows of this Russian Ballerina - please let me know.
Hi, I am from Russia and I know that all ballerinas in the Soviet Union never drive a car. They either move on the subway or (not often) by taxi, because they all live in the center of Moscow or Leningrad.

I did a hypnosis on a friend

For pathworking I did a regression hypnosis on my friend who recalled a life in the 1840's in probably Russia, Definately a place that is cold even when it's not winter. She lived in a shack alone and she was probably in hiding from a crime she comitted as an 18 yr old, she recalled where she brutally beat someone else to death. I don't know if this is uncommon, but I haven't heard many stories like this. Also I remember a life where I made star charts like the placements of constellations and such, but don't know much more about that lifetime.

Did you get any other information on the life with star charts? A feeling about a place or time? I've always been fascinated with those things and the ancient people who studied the stars.

I think the only lifetime I can recall that people don't hear about often was one as the daughter of a tailer in London in what I think is the 1800s...cobblestones, lamplights on the streets, etc. I think I worked with him in the shop because I recall going there at night for something and letting myself in a back entrance.

I was on a mountain overlooking a sea is all I know for sure and I threw the chart into the sea. I think that it was a mixture of astronomy and astrology. There were scientific and esoteric terms On the sheet I am pretty sure. I had the feeling I was an alchemist, too in that lifetime. One thing that never changed from life to life even in this life is that I believe in herbal healing and home remedies and nature based religions. And I felt the term stargate more than saw it or anything, But that's just plain crazy. Who knows?

In Medieval times, my son was a merchant traveling from town to town. On one of his trips, on a lonely path - he could already see the town walls in the distance - he got robbed and maybe killed.

He had another memory of this life also; the first time he was regressed to this life he saw himself in a busy medieval town, on his way to a possible customer.

A good friend of mine has always told me about a reoccurring dream in which she is a warrior in a snowy field. She is struck down in the back with what she thinks may have been an axe or a spear. I don't really know anymore but she's coming to visit for the week so I'll press her for more details.

Interestingly enough, we both feel as though we've been predominately male in our previous lives. I believe this may be one of the first times I've been a girl.

Do let us know, if your friend will share more details, Serpo. :)

It's funny with genders and past lives. In general I'd say we all experience lifetimes as both, but many seem to have a strong tendency to either or. I remember more past lives as a female, but there are many male ones, too. I know people who only remember lifetimes as a man or a woman (of course it's not to say they never had the other kind).

I'm almost positive that I was an actress in another life, I don't think that I was famous, but from the time I was very young I was pulled like a magnent into any kind of self expression through singing, music, or portraying a part, when I turned college age I made it a goal to read as many classic books as possible because I knew that plays, movies and television in general often had a hint of them in there somewhere, when I was a teenager, I would often act out parts from musicals, I'd temporarily step out of myself to get really into the character, even an ordinary room became a stage because in the imagination there were no boundaries of reality, it was very freeing, and I'd always come back down to earth feeling refreshed with a little bit of perspective on myself based on what I had to dig into my emotions for to project into the character. Sometimes when I would act out parts I would feel an unexplainable home sickness, as if acting were in my blood.

Hi;
I am curious - if anyone here knows someone whose past life was something you don't read about or hear about often in reincarnation circles. No aliens, or animals please. Lives that are not on the list we come across often.

For example, my niece was a Russian Ballerina in her last life. She was very famous but was burned horribly in a car accident and remained in hiding until her death later in life. If anyone knows of this Russian Ballerina - please let me know..
I used to believe I had a PL as a dancer of Hungarian descent but I was not sure if it was a PL memory or something else. This was based on my early and still ongoing obsession with eastern Europe mostly Hungary. I recall going to the local library when I was really young and getting all these Hungarian music tapes.

Anyway, I've only had two dreams about a "Hungarian dancer". In the first dream there was some huge scandal which had ruined her reputation she was fairly old in the dream and was living somewhere foreign [to me at least] arguing with some old man. I remember mostly painted red walls.

I had a second dream of her maybe 3 years ago where she was much much younger and in which there were postcard images of herself all around a very small apartment. I got the feeling in this dream that she had immigrated out of somewhere [Hungary?] and was "starting out" in the dream she was again arguing but with a young man.

Interestingly three people in this life have asked me if I was a dancer. Don't know why that is. Maybe looking up old postcards of dancers might be useful?

Both my PL memories [i have a stronger one of an 18 year old boy that committed suicide] have that in common, of having lived in a very tiny/small space and at some level of poverty. I live in a big house in this life but I prefer very small spaces - cabins, studios.

The only thing I recall about the boy was that he was heavily into baseball.

How interesting, Katrien.

Do you have any idea/inkling of the era in which the dancer lived? If she was famous enough to have her pictures on postcards, it might be possible to find her if you could say something about the era (if you're interested in validations). What kind of a dancer she was? A ballerina or something else?

So do you think the boy was American, as he was into baseball? I guess it's not played in many places outside America. Again - do you know when the boy lived? It must have been a pretty modern era, because of the baseball.

true postcards must denote some fame.In the dream though the general feeling was of financial hardship.I don't remember much but seeing a pole? the type which are used for electrical wires so it must have been in the electrical age maybe the 1930-40's. But it certainly felt of another era.

I interpret my dreams so it can be hard to know when they are symbolic/metaphoric of my own life or smthing else. But usually ones of another era are so rare you question them as a memory.

I don't know if the boy was american,I suspect so.but my memory of that dream is precise in every detail in my mind, almost photographic,I could draw the rooms.

It was the 1970's,toward the end of the 1970's by the hairstyles of the girls he had on his wall.It would make sense for me to recall it more clearly as it would have been the most recent PL.

Thanks for this information - I have never heard of it before and never seen it in Finland.

What about a lifetime during the Cuban Revolution? That's not talked about at all on here. For me I've always felt a strong connection with Cuba, especially during the revolutionary times, more so than any other place and time. It's weird though cos I've lived my whole life in the United States.

But I love the Caribbean: the beaches and the palm trees and the beautiful weather. I love latin music and salsas and tangos. I love to drink rum. When I was a kid I always had this gun rifle that I played with. Little things like that.

I've never been to a regressionist or anything to see my past lives but I've had dreams before of fighting as a rebel group, being in gunfights and watching fighter planes bomb us and stuff like that that seemed plenty real to me.

I know when I was a kid going over to my grandparents house, sometimes we would just go for walks down dirt roads and through the woods and fields. And I always had a feeling that I can only describe now as a familiararity of an earlier life. Simpler times, I think.

Hello Shay and welcome!

I too have an affection for Cuba. I've never been there, or even known anyone from there, but it draws me too! I was in the Caribbean this spring and it was beautiful.

I think if you read about meditation and all of the ways to detect past lives, you'll probably find your instinct is correct. There are so many good threads on here to help you out. Enjoy them and if you have any question let us know...we'd be glad to answer any questions.

Enjoy!!

PS> Karoliina those type of postcards were common here also. I have several from the late 1800s early 1900s. I think that it was common to reproduce early photographs on that thick material.

yes I also read that it was common to do so and meant to say so.

I did'nt feel she was of any great fame but only 'aspiring'.

Welcome to the forum, Shay! :)

Usually fascinations like those tend to have past life roots, when looked deeper into. Are you interested in finding out more? There are great tips on this forum on how to learn more about one's past lives.

It's good to know. Here old photos were reproduced also on a thick material - actually thicker than postcards - but they don't look like postcards to me in other ways. :)

Here you go, Deborah!

This performance was given as a farewell benefit for the Ballerina Anna Johansson (daughter of the great teacher and dancer Christian Johansson), who after recovering from burn injuries was forced to retire from the stage.

Could not confirm the source of the burns, though.

Welcome to the forum Esc,

Great research and a good find there -

I can't wait to hear what Deborah thinks of this!

Chris

Hi Esc,

Thanks for trying! One thing that doesn't line up - at quick glance is the second premiere "for the general public on 20 January [O.S. 2 January] 1895" was before the invention of cars. So Ballerina Anna Johansson's life would have been before car fires.

No?

Yes, Deborah, that occurred to me as well, right after I posted my find.

But how many famous Russian balerinas could get burned and survive? This one must have been pretty good if they did a second premiere of a new ballet for her. How definite was your niece about the car? Could it be a mix of 2 memories?

I got my first check for my past life in the internet, I remember before this life, I lived in a house, all painted white, interior and external, looks like a whole piece... and this impression happen a few years before, But I did not check. I type" House in Iran" ... Oh, my goodness, so many results come and many of them are all white... styles match my impression. Maybe not mere my fantasy... which I always doubt. and still doubt.

By the way, I think the topic shall be " life time you don't hear about, among people who born and live in western the whole life" ;)

I have very blur memory regarding my most recently past life, and one life before that, including current life, if my memory is correct, all in different continent and different race and culture, maybe I love to travel, I already travelled more than half earth in my current life. Maybe in bardo status I aslo love travel, who knows :)
