Has anyone had this happen?

I have been looking for a group just like this for along time and hopefully I can connect with people that might have gone through or going through the same thing I am.
Has anyone ever heard of a past life coming back and living inside your head? I know it sounds crazy, but I seriously think that's what I have. About 16yr ago I started feeling like I wasn't alone anymore, like there was someone else in my head. Then I started having extremely vivid dreams of a time where vikings lived. I have done research on the Era and some of the places and people really did exist. Then I started hearing a woman's voice sometimes, telling me stories about battles she was in and other things, I would even take on another personality at times.
I just want to know if anyone else has heard of such a thing before, or if I'm crazy and need to be committed lol.

Welcome to the forum.

After reading your post, I don't think you're crazy! Many people experience past life memories in many different ways.

Personally, I have had information given to me, as thoughts and stories told to me - all inside my head. I believe these experiences when they are accompanied by the feeling of knowing. The feeling of knowing is not something I can explain, except for saying that when you know, "YOU KNOW!" There is no doubt.

For you to get information that you can verify is wonderful. Should be very affirming for you.

I also have the feeling of not being alone anymore, even when there is no one else home and I am technically alone. We never really are alone in my opinion.

I hope you find what you are looking for on this forum, and I hope you share more of your experiences.

Welcome, Raven! A lot of the members here have had experiences of flashing in and out of the past, of "just knowing" things, and so on even when not meditating. Don't worry, you're not crazy. You've managed to be a functional member of society for years even with these experiences, so ... *laugh* ... I think you've learned to handle it, right?

It sounds like you might spend a lot of time close to the mental "meditative" state where it's easier to access the link-up with memories. To be clear, the mindset I'm talking about seems to be similar to the state of the mind when you're doing a single task, reading a fascinating book, or watching a movie. Other than the fact that you're not purposely meditating, the type of information sounds similar to what I and many others experience during meditations or in dreams.

Have you kept a journal about it all? It's often helpful to see how the memories intertwine over time, and eventually discover how consistent they are with what we know of the past from historic records.

I know some of my past avatars are much more vivid to me, and I can almost feel their personalities. I believe this is because I'm currently living a life that somehow resonates with their lives, possibly by making progress toward a spiritual goal they didn't complete in their lifetimes. Do you think this matches your experience, too?

I have the exact same problem. My past soul can take over at times. She´s an own personality instead of a memory.

I can agree with this too, after learning about my past life as a samurai, an abundance of discipline poured into my life I have not seen before. Since these lives are our own, I feel there energy, skills carry over and we can use them for our benefit.

I dont think your crazy, we all just have different ways we channel our energies or experience our past!

This is interesting.
I thought "oh #$@%" am I going crazy.? I can not talk to my family about this.
I am sometimes reading a book in bed or just relaxing watching tv and out of no where I hear a voice and it sounds like someone trying to get my attention. Example: I will be reading quietly and out of no where I hear "don't do that" like a command. Or I hear my name being called. Voice is in my head if you know what I mean. And I think WHAT was that!!.
I am afraid to mention this to any one cause I do not want people to think I am schizophrenic. It seems to happen when I am totally relaxed.

Sure am glad I am not alone. o_O

If this is what you all are talking about how do you get full sentences? I only get a word or 2-3 word phrase and real fast. I guess it might spook me and I snap myself out of that zone or something.

Hi Raptor95,
I know it can be confusing to hear voices in your head. I also know the confusing about how to distinguish between 'crazy' and 'not crazy'. I decided that as long as the voices are not giving commands or negative input, it's ok. As soon as the voices try to manipulate your behavior it's a red flag. When they give a real warning, I do not consider that as a command.
You have to decide by yourself about what you want. Is it your wish to establish conversations, or you might not want those voices at all.
Apparently, you are susceptible to them, but that doesn't mean that you're not going to set boundaries. In my case, I made it very clear that I do not want visitors/vibrations/entities that have a lower vibration than myself. It should be equal of higher than myself. Period.
It is nice to experiment with this ability. You can encourage communication, but you can never force it. There are also different types of communication. In my experience, when there are words involved it means that the vibration is at its lowest (which means equal to myself). It can also mean that 'the other side' is trying to adapt itself to me. Never full sentences anyway. One step higher than words is giving concepts, images. Next step higher is a flow back and forth, little bombs of instant information. The highest I've experienced is a merging, in which I understood the other one like it was concerning myself.
Words are very limiting in those contacts, which is very frustrating at the same time. For us, words are vital. For higher beings, words are literally useless.

About talking fast, Raptor95, ha, ha.... I know... it takes a huge effort of concentration to have such a conversation. They don't take hours. Often when I try to formulate a proper question, the response comes back before I finished to formulate. Wow... answers are already there before the question was fully formulated.
The only solution is to ask questions yourself without using words. Just concentrate on the concept of your question, and the response will come back as a concept as well.

Well, these are my experiences. I know it's not the same to other people.

I will start a different journal for those types of episodes. And write down what I heard and what I was doing.
I can say that they have never been negative. (Whew!) I do not recall all I've heard since it is easy to forget if not written down. I have heard words like if they were part of a conversation. I think I will start by just writing them down and go from there.
Thank you Fire Fly for sharing your experience and giving me advise.

Have you been writing all your experiences down?

Raptor95,
When you are in between sleeping and being awake, there is a certain stage in which you can hear a lot of 'noise'. It's sometimes like a radio band. You can hear all kinds of random sentences, comments etc.
I usually ignore those words, because it's just like overhearing other people's conversations. Perhaps it's just the byproduct of a change of brainwaves, I don't know. Nothing makes sense on a personal level.
