    Brother's Memories

I would actually like to go to some Civil War historical sites sometime, especially Antietam and Bull Run. Unfortunately, we do not currently have the money/time necessary to make such a trip. We did recently go to a Civil War reinactment over in Indiana at a historical museum, though...

    Brother's Memories

I haven't posted here in a while, but my brother (who is 12) recently provided me with information that made me recall that I am in fact a member here : angel He doesn't know anything about reincarnation, and I've never commented to him about it, but the dreams he described to me sound very...

    About traumatic experiences

For me, if it's an especially traumatic or emotional experience, I tend to distance myself from the experience the first time I remember it. I gradually begin to let go of the emotions after the memory though, and eventually I am able to view the experience with much less fear.

Have you ever tried to revisit (geographically) a past life?

No I haven't, but I definitely would for several of my lives. Right now, I can only "visit" these places via Google Maps

    Thinking of You

So...It's been a while. And anyway. I had a meditation session the other night where I went back to my Russian PL. I was taken to a very painful time for me from a time during 1943, I believe. I was almost finished with putting on my uniform for another day at being a guard, and was about to...

    Do You Think?

Okay, well, I thought I would post this and see what other people's ideas on this is. I haven't posted in a while anyway. So, my sister has this literal baseless obsession with France. And just about any war it's been involved in, but particularly it seems the Seven Years War and the French...

    my little brother's past life?

Hi Mica, and welcome to the forum! Wow, that must've been really hard on your grandmother, losing her son like that. Your story about your younger brother is fascinating to say the least. It sounds like there is a very good chance that your brother Isaac could in fact be the reincarnation of...

Why do you think most children who remember past lives are from places where...

LMAO That's what I was thinking and what I wanted to say, but it'd be easier to argue with a brick wall. And then they wonder why I settle for arguing with myself rather than a physical entity within my immediate vicinity : angel I do agree Lady2 that if you raise kids with an open mind...

    Do you believe in Hell?

Perhaps they never forget and are forced to feel/understand the pain of their past victims? I know from experience that simply remembering constitutes quite painful punishment. As far as the "not feeling remorse", I think in necessary cases, the Universe could make them. I believe there's always...

    Do you believe in Hell?

I wonder, since this is a possibility, if perhaps these souls have one of two things happen to them: A) They continously reincarnate somewhere where really, really bad things happen to them (Earth or otherwise) or B) If perhaps their souls simply do not reincarnate at all and are returned...

Why do you think most children who remember past lives are from places where...

I think that an equal amount of kids everywhere recall past life memories, but that the difference is the cultural acceptance. I'm not sure about Eastern cultures, but it seems to me that here in the West, people tend to look at children as inferior and thus shoot down anything they have to...

    Do you believe in Hell?

I don't believe in a literal "Hell" as portrayed by most major world religions. From the point of view of someone who believes the Universe is capable of producing all things, perhaps Heaven and Hell are simply the Yin and Yang of the Universe? That possibly they are connected at one point and...

Has anyone here had any past lives that ended just before this one started?

As far as I know, my last life was in Cuba, and I believe I died sometime in the late 80s. 1987, perhaps? I don't know what it is about that year, but October of 1987 holds some sort of significance for me. I'll figure it out.....Eventually.

    Song for Voroshilov

I too have the Soviet National Anthem and a load of others. What can I say? I'm a Red Army Choir nerd  The US needs an awesome choir like that too >.> Anyway, perhaps there remains something that the Universe believes you are not ready to handle? From my own experience, I should...

Finally Heard a Child Reference a Past Life!

That's pretty cool  I used to be at a daycare with quite a few preschoolers, and as much as I couldn't stand being left there, it would sure be interesting to hear or see one of them reference a past life. It'd be extremely fascinating to hear him say anything else referencing a PL.

    Stalin's Silent Wrath

To avoide major confusion, prior to the creation of the NKVD (People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs), it was known as the Joint State Political Directorate or OGPU. The OGPU was formed out of the Cheka, and it's first chief was Felix Dzerzhinsky, the former chairman of the Cheka. The OGPU...

    Song for Voroshilov

Ah, haven't posted in a while. Been busy and not really much to tell. At least, until this morning. There is a song sung by the Red Army Choir called "Echelon's Song" or "Song for Voroshilov". I have this song downloaded to my Nintendo DSi (who needs an iPod?) and as I was listening...

    Stalin's Silent Wrath

I don't really no how either. To be honest, it's unrealistic. But, I do give my unrealisticness credit for saving my life. If it hadn't been for that, I wouldn't be here today. My thinking was pretty scattered yesterday anyway, so I kept changing things : angel That feeling is going away...

    Stalin's Silent Wrath

It's really a mixture of those things. I've always been drawn to that era, and some have called it an "obsession", although I've always said it wasn't. Then I was having dreams of these events and places. At first, I wanted to write it off as just being my imagination, since I read about that...
