Why is the amnesia about reincarnation incomplete?

The way I see it, what we are supposed to do in-body is to increase our frequency, which is also what ultimately frees us from having to do rebirths. That is what all spiritual growth paths are about.

What's the reason behind it all?

I am talking about a more subtle type of energy that science hasn't discovered yet (or at least not that the public knows of). It is not too difficult to learn sensing this energy and its flow through the body and even outside of it. One way to do it is to spend time focusing on the areas...

    Verification of past life

"I think there is no way in the world to escape a personal belief system. Everybody picks up their environment and creates some kind of logic out of it. That’s part of our human nature." We all grow up with a belief system of one kind or another - that's true. However, it is very much possible...

    Verification of past life

I disagree with that completely. Beliefs are simply assumptions and as such never helpful. A belief system that says there is only the random material universe is just as delusional as a religious belief system where you simply believe based on nothing. It is different if you have personal...

What's the reason behind it all?

I see it kind of similar to Tinkerman. There is consciousness on every level of creation, so that in the end it is the creator experiencing and exploring itself. My idea is that even though the creator is eternal and perfect from our perspective, it still goes through some form of growth and...

    How long until we reincarnate?

Also, the sequence kind of makes sense: 1. As a woman in India I was enslaved by Persian attackers. (800 years pass) 2. Then I decided that I would not be treated like that again and became a soldier myself. (800 years pass) 3. Then apparently I decided that being ordered around to kill others...

    How long until we reincarnate?

I may not be remembering some lifetimes, but it's interesting that the interval for me seemed to be about 800 years for a while: 10/11th century nun in France 3rd centrury Roman soldier 6th century BC woman in India It's more murky before that. There was definitely a lifetime in the Persia...

Anyone out there been lucky enough to marry more than one lost love?

I met someone from a past life and we both remembered being together as servants/slaves in India - though our sexes were switched back then. It was interesting in that the universe seemed to have aligned many things to bring us together, yet ultimately one of us decided that it would not work -...

Once we die, are we still us?

It depends on how we define "us". For a person who believes that he/she is the body, mind and emotions it is different than for someone who connected to the authentic self and Higher Self. Because we do leave the body and rational mind behind, so that the thinking and feeling are somewhat...

Why is the amnesia about reincarnation incomplete?

I agree, it is basically about expanding our awareness and perceiving more than before. Materialist "physical" evidence is not the only kind of evidence there is. There is also "subjective" evidence from direct experience. For example, when you expand your awareness and experience more of...

Why is the amnesia about reincarnation incomplete?

Well, there are different possibilities: positive: forgetting past lives might be a help, so as not get overwhelmed by all those memories and to help focus fully on this life neutral: the forgetting might be a by-product of the development of the rational mind which blocks out the easy access...

    Past life in medieval times?

Okay, but I still think it's a major problem that so many claim a past life as king, queens, high priestesses or pharaos. It also brings up the question of whether it is possible to remember the life of someone you focus on, eg. consciously or subconsciously wanting to remember a life of some...

    Past life in medieval times?

Sorry, but I tend to be sceptic about memories of people being kings or pharaos. It's possible, sure, but very unlikely. It's actually a big issue that so many people remember being kings and queens that it makes past life memories less believable to others - as if we are only on an ego trip...

Who has visited their past life location(s)?

If it's about moving to another country, the living cost is just one of the factors to consider. The living cost is only really an advantage if your income or pension comes from a more expensive place. If you have to earn money in the low income place, it is not much of an advantage living...

Why is the amnesia about reincarnation incomplete?

Maybe everyone is ready to at least hear about it from others or to remember some parts?

    Past life in medieval times?

Jim, I seem to have a past life around the 10th century as well. My sense is that I was a nun in Eastern France. In some of the old European churches, especially the smaller ones, I get the feeling that I used to dedicate my life to prayer in a place like that. What about you?

Why is the amnesia about reincarnation incomplete?

That's a good question and I doubt that anyone has a definitive answer on that. I guess it's a mix of both: partly it is leaky for some people and partly it is by design, meaning the amnesia is supposed to fall away once you are "ready".

Who has visited their past life location(s)?

Cyrus, having lived in Europe and the US, I can tell you that most of Europe is not more expensive than the US - except maybe places like Switzerland. And places like the Canary Islands (part of Spain) are very cheap for living, plus great climate. That's where I am right now. I like Australia...

    Past life in medieval times?

As far as doing research, I find Wikipedia very helpful and especially pictures of the areas where I suspect I might have lived before. When something resonates or is very familiar, you just know it. For example, I always felt that Zoroastrianism is very "modern" as if it is something...

    Intermission memories

I get only a sense of bliss before coming into body and that sense stayed during early childhood, until it got more and more lost. It is basically the connection to the Higher Self. I remember that even as a child of 8 or 9 years old I knew that I would need to get back to that blissful place...
