I am tired of being mistreated in this life, constantly getting bad fortune, randomly abused by people, never making big money, and struggling. I see people like businessmen, politicians (including dictators and their family members, senators, congressmen), entrepreneurs, athletes (think Jordan, Messi, Kobe, Lebron) or celebrities (actors, etc...) who are born in great family circumstances from birth (like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, etc...), make huge money easily without any big setbacks, and basically enjoy a life full of the best life has to offer while insulated from any major negative experiences that millions of others have to go through. Since assuming these bodies are inhabited by "souls" just like everyone else, I am genuinely curious as to why these "select souls" get to experience the best life has to offer (big houses/mansions, more money than they can ever spend, healthy bodies, fulfilling families, power over others (including the power to make others suffer or harm others with no accountability), etc...) while other souls are prevented from the same (and often must suffer under the selfish actions of the wealth/powerful souls). What must I do in this current life to ensure my next life (or a future life) will be a reincarnation into one of the slots where I have a great, privileged, fulfilling, wealthy, rich life where I truly can taste getting the long end of life's stick? I feel like every soul, including mine, deserve to experience one of these lives. Aren't all souls equal?
I'm genuinely curious. I don't view it as fair that some souls get to life these lives while others do not. Do we all get turns being the wealthy or powerful souls? I really want mine. I'm tired of getting the short end of life's stick and want to experience getting the long end for once.
Or is there some type of "hidden cost" to being reincarnated into one of these wealthy/powerful lives? For example, if you chose one of these lives, you have to live an fixed number of others lives in great suffering (such as a beggar, abuse victim, prisoner) to balance it out? Is that why most souls don't actually want one of these powerful/wealthy/privilege lives?
And don't tell me that somehow the life of a poor beggar dying of cancer on the street is somehow equal to that of a trust-fund baby living in a mansion, throwing parties, and being promoted to lead multi-trillion corporations simply because they were born into the right family. Life experience and plain common sense tells me such lives are NOT equal. One is clearly more pleasurable and overall more enjoyable than the other.
But the question remains, if so, WHO decides which souls experience which ones? Is this decision mechanism fair or just?
I'm genuinely curious. Is there any semblance of balance or fairness in spirituality or this universe?
