ive dreamt i was being chased by a serial killer

i was in the dark at night with man(who apparently i knew him well)the later part i was running in the dark chased by a man with knife i felt really scared the only thing i could think about is saving myself the last thing i saw is me falling i think i died at that moment since the dream ended there with darkness.i think this maybe explain the fear from darkness and felling like someone is standing right behind me or chasing me.and i cant halp to feel that my neck is so sensible at times that i keep touch him constantly

i dont know i just felt like it.i felt like i knew i was chased from the start.the guy was chasing me with huge knife laughing (complete psychopath)i also was young adult in my mid twenties
