Palisades and Eaton are the two biggest fires with Palisades being the largest. Hurst is another fire and there are other fires popping up here and there. Its been sad for the people who lost homes and loved ones. I'm not near any of them, being in the southern half of La County when all of the fires are in the northern half. Been stuck inside going on the 3rd day now. The winds are pushing smoke and ash down to my area and the air quality is bad. The Santa Ana winds are dying down, which should help the firefighters. Getting help from firefighters from Canada and Mexico. The US gov. is sending 13 C -130 aircraft over to help. They can configure those massive planes into firefighting planes. They just load a module in and it is good to go. Those will be using March AF Base (which is a spare base and not normally used.)
Its crazy and sad and terrifying.
