My mom and myself will actually be on a cruise on December 21st. Funny enough, we'll be around the edge of the Bermuda Triangle that day too!


Something I'm confused about is what, exactly, is supposed to happen on this day. Are we actually supposed to experience something, or is it more or less symbolic? I don't know if I really believe anything is going to happen or not.

Something I'm confused about is what, exactly, is supposed to happen on this day. Are we actually supposed to experience something, or is it more or less symbolic? I don't know if I really believe anything is going to happen or not.

I think that it's largely symbolic, but there's plenty of people out there that think it's a shift in spiritual energy or reprogramming of our DNA and things. There's plenty of discussion out there if you google maya 2012 and such.

My niece asked me what I thought would happen on "Mayan Doomsday" and I told her the sun will rise in the morning and set in the evening, and what happens in between is up to us, same as every day.
