Simultaneous Lives?

Does anyone know the basics of this?

I don't know much about it at all other than it's considered quite possible by some.

The reason I ask is because I feel very strongly that my son in this life, was my brother in my previous one. However he died in 2007 and my son was born in 2002.

Overall, there is very strong evidence that they are the same person from distinct physical characteristics, personal messages I have received as well as historical evidence.

According to Michael Newton, parallel lives are rare, but they do happen. The soul's energy can split into percentages. Most of the time, part of the soul's energy stays in heaven while the other part reincarnates. Occasionally, the soul can choose to split further into two simultaneous lives in order to speed up its development.

Newton wrote that out of the several thousand hypnosis sessions he's done, he's never come across a "walk-in-" not that they don't exist, but he never personally encountered one. The theory behind that is that if a soul decides that it's in the "wrong" body (or one that no longer serves its purpose), it can make a consensual exchange of bodies with another soul while asleep.

A third possibility is "soul braiding"- one soul can voluntarily "take a vacation" alongside an original soul in a body.

I don't know about any of this stuff personally. I'm just repeating what I've read in case any of it makes sense.

The split energy thing makes a lot of sense actually and is what I suspected has happened.

I communicated with my past brother on one occasion so he hadn't left heaven as it were, yet the signs were so strong that he was also here with my as my son. So that was my own conclusion...

I've always found this interesting. I apparently have another portion of my soul incarnate right now in a young woman in New England, who is half my age. It is becoming clearer that I also bifurcated (if not tri-furcated?) an existence in the mid-1800's and also during the revolutionary period of the United States.

I was told that one's soul incarnates with only a portion of its energy which, for purposes of example would be like selecting some clothes (energy) from a wardrobe (soul) for a trip...you take the trip (lifetime) and afterward put the travelled-in clothes (energy) back into the wardrobe (soul); with your example, your past brother who died in 2007 could be of the same soul but with "different clothes" from that of your son.

Unlike Newton's books, the impressions I have gotten are that the soul is so enormous, complex and capable that it is unlikely an incarnate individual could be made up of a majority of the soul's energy, with only a small amount remaining "up there"...hmmm.

could it be possible to "siphon" soul energy from one life to another with heaven as the "tube" so to speak?

I'd agree that it'd be one or the other, but i also think we maintain some sort of baseline connection to "the other side" otherwise meditation and other techniques to get ourselves to "resonate" in order to make a stronger connection wouldn't be possible..

I consider there is a possibility that an online friend of mine is the same soul as now departed my grandmother. If this is the case there would have been an approximate 34 year overlap in their lives.

I have not met this online friend in person but the first time I saw a photograph of her, the feelings I experienced were extremely overwhelming. I am certain that we have known each other in at least one previous life and feel there is a strong possibility she was my grandmother.

Glad I found this thread. I have an interesting theory involving myself...

Anyway, I really do believe that we have the ability to live multiple lives at once. I think my last two lives just so happened to be parallel.

I was a Holocaust victim. I died around the age of seventeen as a boy in Dachau. Around 1943.

The other life? I was a young woman married to a SS. She killed herself during the summer of 1945, leaving two small sons behind. Interesting, I think.

I discovered both these lives within the past year, though I've known for quite some time that I died in the Holocaust; I had a reading done that gave me the details in June, I believe. The fact that one part of me was Jewish and died in a concentration camp was too much for the other part of me to take when the truth about what had happened to the Jews was fully and completely out in the open. She couldn't take the emotions that came along with it, especially owing to the fact that her husband was a SS.... I have a lot more to say about it, but I won't ramble!

Just thought I'd share. I would be interested to hear anyone's opinions on this. Thanks for reading! :)
