A Bit Of Research

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you to everyone from here who read my blog on my first year of spiritual development. The feedback I've had has all been very positive, and it's inspired me into trying to complete one of the items on my 'bucket list' - have at least one book published.

I've started work on a spiritual Q & A book, looking at many different aspects of spirituality and providing answers in simple terms that, hopefully, everyone can relate to.

One problem I find with the way spirituality is presented to the general public is that much of it is away in the clouds with the fairies, verging on blind belief, which is why it's laughed at and not taken seriously. I want to try and provide a more grounded approach, with explanations that can be applied to day to day life on Earth, so more people can relate to it. Essentially, I'm trying to build more of a bridge between Earth life and spirit.

I'd like to ask for your help with this, if I can. I've already come up with a long list of questions, but would also like to hear other people's questions they'd be interested in having answered.

Thank you in advance for any replies,

Carl

Have you read "Afterlife101dotcom"? It too, assembles a large number of questions and provides answers with cites as to the source of the answer. It holds some pretty good information...and nothing on fairies, centaurs etc!

Do I get to choose when I come back?

What if I don't like the body I chose ... can I go back to Heaven?

Do I have to stay in the same family?

Will I remember who I was when I come back?

I hurt someone. They did nothing to me. When I come back will they also come back and hurt me this time around?

Sorry for the late replies. I've not really been online much over the past few days.

Thank you for the questions, Mama2HRB. Some of those are already touched on in other answers I've already written up, so it's good to see I'm thinking along similar lines as others.

Jody, the questions can be anything, about any aspect of spirituality. The first few questions I've answered, for example, are these....

1. Is there life after physical death?

2. Does everyone survive physical death?

3. So what actually happens when we die?

4. Where do we go when we die?

And so on. I've got a list of about 60ish questions so far, and am thinking of more as I start answering the ones I've already got.

I would like to know why some souls "wonder", instead of going on to a place of welcome. Maybe, they are trying to avoid having to reincarnate? Sorry - that just popped into my head!

I read somewhere they are reluctant to move on because of their religious upbringing, etc. As in, "What if I'm going to Hell? Am I going to be judged and then sent to Hell?" Atheists and agnostics are totally shocked. This is NOT something they were prepared for.
