A Child calling you their mother

Hi,

I'm not sure if anyone heard of or experienced this, but I have a male friend who has a son.

I met his son the first time when he was around 3 years old and I was 28 years old at the time. It was my first time meeting the little boy and he was calling me his mother. He would be showing me his room and drawings he made. Every time we corrected him, he would ignore and continued calling me his mother.

It only stopped when his mother came home. From then on, each time I visit, he never call me mother. He is definitely a very sweet and intelligent child.

I always wondered if we could have been mother and child in a past life.

Very likely possible. Ask his parents for any other unusual behavior or talk related to this and tell them to record any such incidents with date.

Welcome to the forum, Cgem!

That is unusual indeed and of course it could mean something. Either that the boy remembered you from another life or something else.

This had never happened to me but this does remind me of a time a young girl just went up to my mom. Guess she just has a motherly energy about her having raised 3 girls. Also I can remember watching my nephews back when they were younger and they would call my mom mom instead of grandma, but then again to this day my mom doesn't like being called grandma as it makes her feel old. Besides she hardly looks old enough to be a grandma anyway though my mom is 64 she looks more like she's in her 40s. Though I have baby sat some kids usually see me as more of a friend type then a motherly type. I guess that's because for one I look a bit young for my age as well. Most people think I'm about 20 though I'm actually 31. Also I have yet to marry and have kids of my own and can sometimes act more like a kid than an adult because of that.

Not sure.
when i was a child with few years, just five or six, i was with my parents into a fair and an expo and i flee by their controls and i run away until i hit against the body of a policeman and i hugged him call him "daddy!" with the blinked expressions of the man and the anger of my mom. XD
So, i not know, maybe the little child was thinking that mom is just an adult woman into the home at this time, or maybe was just playing.
i hate to be skeptical, but if you want to approach to PL research with a scientifical and logical approach you need to use the Occam Razor.
you need to collect more data possible and to think to PL only when any kind of other possible explanations are invalidated by evidence of facts.
