Altered PL memories.

Hi all.

I was reading through an old thread and Tankers ( where is he gone? ) post reminded me of a topic I wanted discussing in its own thread...so here it is.

I don't know if I'll get a response because I extremely rarely see people discuss meeting the same souls in multiple lives online, but sure, here I go...

When I have PL memories of people I've known in my current life it takes a second for the penny to drop as to who they are because they are in a different body.

Yet once I see it can't be unseen.

Then something curious happens. In my mind my PL memory is reformatted with the persons current life face replacing their past life face.

I guess, on a subconscious level, its my minds way of processing the 'impossibility' of one soul being remembered in at least two separate bodies. It contextualises the PL memory in such a way that it seems to be at least relatively compatible with my current life memories.

I still remember what those peoples PL faces look like but when I remember the PL memory itself I remember it with their modern faces replacing the older face.

I'm always very objective about examining my PL memories and I always validate everything with no contradiction's...but I find it interesting that my memories of some faces can still be altered just the same.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Interesting. I think I've experienced something similar. But instead of seeing a past life face replaced with a current life face, I've seen the current life face replaced by the past life one. I was having dinner with a friend of mine, when suddenly his face changed for a second or two. It was just long enough for me to see that his hair was longer and he was wearing 18th century style glasses. It happened as he was speaking to me. Within a split second he was back to how I was used to seeing him in this time period. It definitely was a WTF moment.

For me something similar happens with places. Sometimes what my physical eyes see conflicts with what my mind "sees". Then later, I've learned that what my mind "saw" was correct.

We only use maybe around 20% (?) of our brain when awake but on occasion we probably tap into a bit more, hence these alternate perceptions we are receiving. That's my guess as to what may be going on.
