What I found most interesting (not surprisingly) was this statistic:

According to a 2003 Harris poll, 40 percent of people aged 25 to 29 believed they would return to earth in a different body after they die.

I've argued with people who didn't believe that Newsweek had quoted another poll a couple of years ago stating that 30% of Americans surveyed believed in reincarnation.


Good to see that Newsweek is still making that information available to the public. You can't argue with a statistic-unless you want to argue with how they calculated it.

You're welcome. It's always nice to see reincarnation mentioned and poll results in mainstream resources like this. What I found interesting is that the writer referred to the Kabbalah as a New Age movement. Oyi. Really? You don't say? Too bad she didn't do a little more research on the topic. It's an ancient text the Kabbalah....the Zohar is one that has embraced reincarnation for thousands of years.

Popular New Age movements such as Scientology and Kabbalah teach some version of reincarnation.....

Oh well - at least it's out there!

As she made reference to Madonna's belief, I'm guessing she's actually referring to the trendy, new agey version of Kabbalah, that is the latest thing among celebrities.
