Daughter's Comments

Hi! I'm new to the forum and was thinking of all of the things my six year old has said in the past that I have related to her having a past life. The most extensive thing she said was a couple of years ago when she spoke of her family "in the mountains" (we live in the suburbs) and that "there was a fire and she and her sister lived there". I also remember her mentioning two grandmothers at that time as well. I don't remember the whole conversation, but at the time, I remember thinking she was speaking of a past life. One other thing she said was, "Your the best mother I've ever had." I asked her about the fire in the mountains a couple of days ago and she didn't remember telling me that. I guess since she's getting older now she won't be remembering anything. She's not particularly afraid of fire and likes to sit by the fireplace, roast marshmallows, etc.

Hi djstreet,

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for sharing your daughters' comments with us, it sounds like she could well be experiencing memories of a past-life.

She may forget her past-life memories as she gets older, so it's always a good idea to keep a journal of the things she says. Write down everything you can remember that she's said, and continue to do so if she remembers any more.

Have you read any of Carol's books? You may be interested in Children's Past Lives.

May i ask if your daughter has a sister in her current life?

Please keep us updated if there are any new developments, good luck, and i hope you enjoy the discussions here, please feel free to join in.

Chris..;)

Hi Chris,

No, she doesn't have a sister. She now has a baby brother (born last summer), so she was the only child when she was relaying that story to me. Thanks for your advice. I will definitely start writing things down with our son as he gets older and of course anything else my daughter may say. I will also pick up Carol's book. My father-in-law told me about this site several years ago. I saw Carol on a program about reincarnation on the Biography Channel over the week-end and decided to visit again.

Hello Djstreet and thanks for sharing your daughter's comments with us! :)

It sounds like you daughter really was remembering her past life. It's common they start to forget when they get a little older. But yes, write down everything you can remember, and I'm sure she'll appreciate it very much when she grows up.

I also suggest you keep your ears open with your son. ;)

Thanks for sharing your daughters' memories, djstreet. Does your father-in-law visit this forum regularly? It is nice that you have someone in your family who is interested in reincarnation !

Eevee,

I'm not sure how often he refers to this forum, but he does have an interest in reincarnation as does my mother-in-law. They are both very open minded about it, which is great. My mother died when I was nine. I don't think my dad and step-mom are as open minded.

Hi djstreet and welcome to the forum. Thank you for sharing your daughter's memories with us.

Kind Regards
