Eva Collins

Hello all,

I was given a name in a dream. It was "Eva Collins" (though the surname was something different after her marriage, but I can't remember what). It was also stated she came originally from Poland - but I don't know where to.

I don't recognize the name being Jewish, but I thought immediately for some reason that she must have been Jewish. I also think she lived in the 20th century. I googled the name a bit, but didn't find anything important - the closest was maybe an Australian Jewish author by that name (so maybe the name is Jewish?).

I have suspected I might have had a Jewish life in the 20th century, but it could also be I'm having someone else's memories. I don't know now if I was Eva Collins or if she was the person whose memories I'm having. Or if the name is just a clue to something else.

But I sure would like to find out!

I just found out some Polish-Jewish people with the surname "Kalisch" have changed it later to Collins (when living in an English-speaking country).

Kalisch is also a town and area in Poland.

Getting the name was really just a weird "side thing" in a dream about something completely else. But I think I saw Eva in a glimpse. I think she was blond and smoked a cigarette.

I didn't remember about your Eva (the name). Was she Lena's friend? I go and read your post about her.

We've been emailing with Niamh a lot about our thoughts and memories. It's a loooong story, but it seems we knew the same Eva (for example the Eva in my dream was blonde and smoked a cigarette - Niamh's Eva was a blonde smoker too and Niamh checked if she had told this here but she hadn't) (and that was only one thing). I haven't figured out yet, what my position here really is/was though.

Many of my "memories" are very similar to Niamh's so I'm not ruling out the possibility of picking up her memories for some reason.

I hope we find out one day, but so far it's unclear who I was - if anyone in Lena's and Eva's life.
