How do you help them remember?

I was just wondering. I have a daughter that is two years old and just beginning to speak. I am learning a lot about past lives right now and am somewhat new to it, although I am learning that I have many past lives and have reincarnated with a group of people I know now and have been around for a REALLY long time. I am wondering how to encourage a young child to remember, acknowledge or talk about their past lives. ANy ideas?

I think you should let it come naturally. If she remembers, she remembers. She does not know this life yet why should you want her to remember her past lives. Without any purpose, I think past lives should be left undisturbed for children.

I agree. I didn't ask any questions to my son until he started telling me things that no three or four year old would say or remember in his short years spent here.

In the town that I live in now, there was a parade and fair grounds set up last year, downtown. HE said that it was about time that they had another one. The last fair that the town had in that location was in 1910. He said it was so much fun and that there were more people there then last year. I worked for the town at the time and went through some files on the History of the town. Apparently Thousands of people, as far away as the states visited. He says lots of other things too, but I won't bore you. His great aunt calls him an old soul.

Take care,

Karen

Karen,
I won't be bored at all. Please tell us more stuffs your son told you. These are amazing. It appears that your son does not need any extra help and he is willingly to give out information. That's great. I initially suggested not to actively asking for these was more for protection of your son. If he has no problems that need to be resolved by knowing the past, there is no need to stur it up. That's the way I deal with my son (3 yrs old). I never ask anything, and I am still waiting patiently to hear any story from him. So far, nothing comes out of him yet, and I'm fine with that.

Please tell us more stories.

Thanks,

cpliu

The last thing you need to do is worry about boring us with stories about your kids past life memories. 99.999999% of us are here just for that sort of thing. and the rest of us are just odd.

Alright,

My son has spoken of events that he could possibly not have even heard of from any family member or friend.
His great great great grandfather passed away on the Titanic and I had been doing research about him for the family. His great great grandmother is still alive and remembers when the authorities came to the door to tell the her mother about him. My son referred to him as Emile instead of Amos (which when in Canada was what he was called). His family in England called him Emile. My boy said that he didn't drown and that we should look to find out what really happened to Emile. He thinks that he had probably frozen in the Atlantic. Emile could have jumped off, I guess.
My son has also said that a friend named H.P. had frozen and went under ice in a pond back when he was little the 'other time'. He said that he felt bad because H.P. wasn't supposed to go outside and he let him out. My little one has also said that he has been to a place far away from where we live now, called 'sengi' (excuse the spelling as four year olds aren't great spellers). He told me that there was water and rocks and a farm nearby. When I had posted this in the forum, a member very nicely looked up the word and it comes from an, I think, ancient Japanese civilization meaning a cliff with water underneath. I think that was what it was anyway.
That's only some stuff, he comes out with more things every couple of months. I ask if I was ever there and usually I was not there and when he says that I was, I pretend that I remember and say that I forget certain things. He fills me in.

Thanks,

Take care,

Karen
