I have a two year old grandson who tells us of the time when he was what he calls a "France baby", and says that he had the same mommy then, and asks her to "talk France talk" to him! All she could accomodate him with was to repeat "oui, oui"
a number of times. He told her to call him Chauncey because that was his name then. CHAUNCEY!!??!! Isn't that an English name? Not French? He couldn't have heard it anywhere that I know of....this is only the tip of the iceberg since he sees many prescences at home and tells us their names, and other unusual things.I wondered what similar experiences anyone might have had,and how they handled it and how the children involved did with it, etc. Thanks for any help.
