Wow, this is the first time I heard Dannion give testimony about 'merging' with the 'being' who led him from this world to the world beyond into the city of light. (Around 55:15) This merging is what led to 'higher awareness' - and it expands understanding a billion times over. I have seen testimony of his about the 'over-soul' aspect and have been looking for something where he gives testimony of this process. Great. Thanks.argonne1918 said:

There is a scene in this documentary that reminds me of a scene from the movie "Heaven & Earth." There is one scene in the movie that has always stood out in my mind. It was a rare scene that touched on a deceased spirit and having communication with it.
I can remember using this line with many people after my own 'afterlife' encounter when they told me they didn't believe in life after death. I told them, "When you cross over - you will change your mind about that."

The Vietnamese girl marries an American serviceman and they move back to the US. He dies and she consults a Buddhist monk and there is a scene where his spirit visits and the Buddhist monk passes on a message to his wife. It is a scene that stayed with me through the years.
The documentary is about an actual person who was an atheist while alive - and had joked that if there was an afterlife, he would find a way to come back and drop his friends a line about it. When asked by a 'medium' what he thinks of finding out he was wrong about an afterlife - the medium states his spirits reply is, "It is much more bigger than you can dream about."
I can remember using this line with many people after my own 'afterlife' encounter when they told me they didn't believe in life after death. I told them, "When you cross over - you will change your mind about that."

I was contacted many years ago by someone I knew after she died. She was an atheist while alive and we had philosophical discussions from time to time. I told her I believed in reincarnation. Shortly after she died she "told" me, "You were right".

I esp. loved listening to and watching the reaction of one of the forensic scientists. The large clock suddenly ticking in the background while he’s being filmed discussing the ink blot case (when it had not chimed for years, or since then); and also the mention that the fire alarm had gone off in the lab building (the first time in 6 months). I’m sure this was Forrest saying hello, ‘WAKE UP’! ... just like an alarm clock/buzzer going off in the morning to get you out of bed.
Understandably, Paul Davids and Ackerman's other friends are excited about this case, with Davids labelling it “historic". However, spirits making contact with humans is not uncommon. There are many cases out there where the research done, evidence collected, and the many synchronicities etc. are well recorded by the individual, even if no or little filmed evidence exists. Most ordinary people with these kinds of experiences do not have the time, and certainly not the industry contacts and/or money to throw at any kind of research labs or professional mediums, to obtain further confirmation this way; but their evidence is nonetheless still very compelling and ‘historic’. I have also had spirits come through to me via the use of ordinary, household electronic equipment (I had no video in the room to record the events, but they did occur).
It’s also not uncommon for atheists to come back and make contact with mediums and point out this fact that they were non-believers when living. I see that you have experienced this Argonne1918. I know I've mentioned this before but, several years ago here, a story aired on national T.V. here - this was part of a program about mediums contacting the dead in order to help solve their crimes. This particular case was of a man with a scientific background who was murdered and the police simply had no clues as to why or who was involved. During the contact with the medium, the spirit of the man makes a point of telling the woman that he was “a non-believer of this sort of thing when I (he) was living”. She answers back, yes but you’re speaking with me now aren’t you, to which he laughs (as relayed by the medium).
The word play, frequently referred to in both video links, may indeed be a reflection of Forrest Ackerman’s personality. HOWEVER, word play is something I have personally seen done by MANY souls, and it’s really NOT unusual. It’s just one way for those on the other side to get our attention. Sometimes the word play is deliberately done by the soul to provide a reminder about the past – i.e. markers/word play are left in a name and/or birth date in this current life, to reflect the past. This brings me to my next point.
In the video, when they are in the lab looking at the ink spectrum of the obliterated line, the spectrum line that is unexplainable to the lab expert - i.e. not understood by him - is numbered 138 (i.e. 138.2885). Whatever unknown physical component this marker represents in the ink, I suspect this is also a possible number play. This is because the date Paul Davids experienced the obliterated ink line was on 18. 3. 2009 >> 183 (138) ... and, the name FORREST (with the extra ‘R’) numerically gives 101 and 38 (which gives the numbers 1 3 8). This number play is a sure sign for me that the spirit contacting Paul Davids was the spirit that was incarnated as Forrest J Ackerman.
Then, there was also the African mask episode, that very strongly suggests Forrest Ackerman’s involvement:
- The sensor indicates an “unusual magnetic field” around the African mask in Paul Davids' home, and of course he mentions that masks are the sort of thing Forrest Ackerman loved.
- The mask was a gift by a friend (I assumed Todd Easton Mill) who bought it at a ‘native ceremony’ in Zimbabwe, Africa (presumably in 1983).
- Todd Easton Mill speaks about a whole set of slides that have mysteriously disappeared from a carousel – the slides contained images of pictures taken in Zimbabwe, which included photos of the African mask now sitting in Paul Davids' home.
- The carousel is marked: Tray No. 140 and dated Aug 1983
- The date of the obliterated ink line occurred on 18. 3. 2009 from which the year 1983 (the year on the box of the carousel slides) can be extracted. Also, Forrest Ackerman died on the 4th Dec in 2008 – although 2008 was a leap year, the 4th December, in a non-leap year, is the 338th day of the year; and the ’83 year date on the slides carousel reflects this. ... AND - yes there are more free steak knives in this package - the date of the obliterated ink line episode occurred 104 days after Forrest died. 104 appears to be a number play on 140 (the carousel tray number).
- And Forrest Ackerman was 92 y.o. when he died, the ink blot event occurred in 2009.
Also if you had been a writer, then the obvious way to get someone’s attention would be via the written word – whether it be by opening up a computer program (which is what occurred in the lab and also with the Canadian writer), or via a security check box where you are asked to retype a word to confirm you are not a spambot, on a printed page (like the ink blot line), or whether by throwing someone’s ‘papers’ to the floor, or pushing someone’s phone off a mantel repeatedly.
And, before I forget, the name MOE can also be extracted from the place name MEXICO, which is where Paul Davids was when he experienced the obliterated ink line.
The examination of the ink blot in the science lab WAS very interesting, however science isn’t necessary here to prove to anyone that Forrest J Ackerman was making contact with Paul Davids, Joe Moe, the Canadian film writers or any of his other friends.

Wow! You are VERY observant. Thank you for all of these details. Yes, you are right about it being common to be contacted by deceased loved ones and friends. After my father passed away several years ago an alarm clock started "dinging" one time by itself once or twice a day. The alarm function had not been used for many years. The ringing stopped after three days when I tracked down the source of the "ding". The on / off switch was half way between on and off. This was the clock my father had used to wake himself up from naps. This video was made to help convince skeptics. I'm happy for the scientific testing they did. Of course, there will always be some who insist the video was faked.
Yes, it's a great case, even if some professional/hard line skeptics will find a way to denounce it (they always do, don't they ... let's just ignore these people, as there really is nothing to be done about them). However, this really is one of so many cases, that hearing him say it was an "historic" case just felt a bit over the top to me.
