Meeting in Dreams

I have heard of people meeting with others through dreams. Do you think it is possible for a person to meet up with someone from another life through a dream?

I had a dream back when I was 14 that felt extremely significant, yet I didn't know what to make of it when I woke up. I'm wondering if it is possible that I met someone from a past life through the dream, or if this was perhaps a representation of such a person in dream form?

The first thing I remember is being at my church, which, at the time, was like a second home to me, a place of comfort. When I am walking through the church, I see this boy. He looked to be about 16 or so, and of Native American descent. His skin was a smooth olive tone, and he had shiny black hair pulled back into a low ponytail, reaching a couple inches below his shoulders.

Our eyes met, but then I looked down, blushing, pretending not to see him looking at me. He was smiling all the while. I didn't know who he was, but he seemed to know me.

Then the dream changes. He and I are in a backyard (one I have never seen before, at least in this life) and we are dancing together. It seemed to be some sort of party, but we payed no attention to anyone else; we are too wrapped up in our mutual love for each other. We didn't speak because there was no need to. We knew each others' minds and feelings. People were watching us, but we didn't care.

What I remember most about the dream is that I had never felt so loved, and I wondered what I had done to deserve such love. He seemed so wise, and I felt so young and stupid.

At this point the dream changed again, and my dream boy was gone. I was younger again, walking through a hot and sandy place in unbearable clothes with my parents. That was the last thing I remember.

This dream has always felt significant to me, and I have thought back on it every so often throughout the years since. I remember thinking it must be significant back then, and now I am wondering if that significance could be connected to past lives. Please tell me what you think!

Wow, it does sound like a past life to me:) Seems like you jumped to significant events in a certain life, so might have been significant time intervals between each part, maybe years?

Did you see yourself, or got an impression of who you were, what you looked like etc? If you for example are blond now, and see yourself with dark hair, this might be a big clue :)

I've had something similar. There was a guy I met when I was around 19. He triggered a lot of dreams and images that I feel is past life connected long before I really got to know him. Some dreams were good others not so good. For whatever reason it's like I know I knew him during ww2, and what his profession was. I don't know why I think this, it's like someone told me this, but thinking about no one told me that in reality!

But your experience seem real. Did you recognize him? Maybe he is someone you already know, or will get to know... :)

Well, the first part of the dream took place in a location I knew from this life. It definitely wasn't a memory. In that part it seemed that he knew who I was but I didn't know him. Now that I'm thinking about it, it seemed that I had been dreaming about being in the church a while before he showed up. He kind of commandeered my dream.

During the second part of the dream, which, thinking back on it, could actually be memory, we were in a completely different situation. He and I were in mutual love at that point, completely comfortable with each other, in a location I am not familiar with. I don't recall thinking about what I looked like at all, I was only aware of him. I don't remember entirely if he looked different... I believe he was the same, though there may have been some variation in age.

The third part, without him, was completely different. Again, I feel pretty certain that it wasn't memory, just a creation of my mind, though I wonder if it might have some significance.

I didn't recognize him, though I feel certain that if I came across him, I would know it. Even then, long before I knew about past lives, I thought about trying to find him. The impression I got was that we were not going to meet in real life, that this dream was a precious thing for me to treasure and remember, a gift of sorts, but that we would not see each other again.
