Memory of a loved one

I've recently remembered quite a bit about one of my past lives. (My name, my life, who I loved, my job, how and where I died etc) I remember someone I fell for in that time, someone whom I loved dearly. I'm quite sure I know them in today's time but even though we both know of our past lives she is not the person she used to be. (Which isn't bad and I accept that completely) I just can't help but to really miss the love of my life. I know it was over two hundred years ago and that's i need to get over it because it's in the past and isn't going to change anything but I can't figure out how to. I just miss them so much.

You are in good company. I am still hung up over my love from eight hundred years ago. It is all to easy to get caught up in yearning for what we once had. I just try to keep in mind that it is a different life and I have new things to accomplish. Honestly, it does not rid me of such feelings, but it is a start.

Definitely a good start, thank you. I wish you luck with getting over your own memories as well or at least accepting it.

I have recently met and dated a woman who I have had many relationships with.
And most of them have ended badly. Our first meeting was 2500 years ago. I can’t help feeling we are trying to make amends for something in a past life and the love we feel for each other is very intense.
But I am also sure we are making a mistake revisiting our relationship. And our meetings are never at the right time I know exactly what you are feeling it is very intense but you will be able to move on eventually

In my case, it is not lovers, but friends, relatives and a mentor I miss. But you definitely are not alone with this. Sometimes I miss my two sons from 2000 years ago so much that it hurts. Or a certain man whom I loved as a friend even longer ago. Or the girl whom I called "Angelita" and who called me "Orlando" (those were not our names, though, but nicknames, I was very fond of a special version of the Song of Roland and she was my little angel, I felt very protective of her) from over 500 years ago.
