Message from my grandfather

Apologies for my many posts these past few days. This is an interesting forum and I have lots of questions.

First, I want to mention that I was not close with my grandfather at all. Growing up, I saw him maybe twice a year. When we visited him, I usually just played around in his house (he had the coolest house-- it was huge and very old!) He drank and cussed a lot, and my dad had a rocky relationship with him.

His wife, my grandmother, on the other hand, was a very devout Catholic. They had ten kids, and I have cousins who number in the dozens.

Anyway, I have had visitation dreams before, usually involving relatives I had been closer with. This time my grandfather visited me in a dream. He gave me the biggest, warmest hug, and said "Religion is a good thing for families." Then he left, and I woke up suddenly. I had the feeling that it was very real and I didn't doubt it at all.

Well, I felt super flattered that Grandpa would have come visit me. I have about a million cousins-- why did he choose me? Maybe he comes to them too? A couple of weird things about this experience: First, he was not a religious man, though my grandma was. He was agnostic/ atheist or something like that. I wonder if he had a change of heart after death? At the time of this dream, my husband and I had been considering quitting church. Since then we started going back.

Another thing is, he died in 2004. It's been quite a long time. Do some people not reincarnate?

What are your thoughts on this?

I hadn't even thought of that. Weird. We have two girls and are currently discussing trying for another. Here's a post I made where I talk about this spirit kid bugging me to get pregnant:

Maybe it's him, I don't know. The voice I heard seemed to be a little boy's voice indeed. I can see why he'd pick me in that case-- maybe he wants to be back in my dad's life and make amends or some such thing?

But I don't want to get too hung up on that thought, in case it is not true.

By the way, in regards to the above post: I was pregnant but it turned into an early miscarriage, number two in a matter of months.
