My 4-year old granddaughter likes to talk about her husband and 4 children. Her husband has a strange looking car that has flowers painted on it. She knows the names of her children and their ages. My son and daughter-in-law get amused when she talks about this imaginary family of hers. Also my wife and I think it is sort of funny. However, when I was reading a book a couple of weeks back by Sylvia Browne, the famous psychic, she also talks about this very experience. She said that children remember former lives and talk about them. Their parents though just put it down to childhood imagination. As the child gets older, she also puts it down to imagination and stops thinking about it. I asked my son about what he thought. He said that sometimes his daughter will say things like, "before I was born, or in my other life." He said they just get a kick out of it and put it down to imagination. My granddaughter talks to my wife quite a bit about her husband and kids. My wife says that she really has a wonderful imagination or maybe she is remembering something from a previous life since she has plenty of details. She has now turned 5 so over Christmas I ask her if she was still married? She said in a serious voice, "no, my husband got stabbed and died." A month went by and I asked her again about her husband. She said she has a new husband and the kids really like him. So we asked her where he lives and she said he lives close to her father, but doesn't now where that is. She is always really serious when talking about her husbands. So it is probably imagination, but sometimes I wonder. Could she really be remembering a previous life that she has lived? Perhaps you have noticed your children or grandchildren talking about something that could be remembering events from a previous life that you just put down to childish imagination? Maybe they did have past lives, who knows?
