My Grandson's Blue House & White Dog

Star

New Member
I'd like to share my Grandson Mykael's story:

When Mykael was about 3-4 years old he used to talk about the white dog he used to own. When I questioned him about it he said, "Remember when I lived in the blue house? Thats where I had my white dog." (He had never lived in any blue house or had white dog in this life anyway)

Having always been interested in reincarnation I tried to encourage him to talk more about it but he was unusually quiet afterwards and looked at me funny like he shouldn't be telling me this.

He is nine now and when I asked him about the blue house a few months ago he looked at me like I was nuts. I said don't you remember he said no and kind of smiled a funny smile. Then a bit of time went by and he said ya know Nana I do remember living somewhere else with my Mom it was made of straw, with no lights or tv. I realized he was describing a hut and I asked him if it was a hut and he said yes like that and my Mom was there but he couldn't remember anything else about it.

Namaste,

Hello Star and welcome to the forum!

It sure sounds like your grandson is one of those, who are able to remember. Most children seem to remember past lives spontaneously at about 3 or 4, but it's more unusual Mykael has that kind of memories now that he's nine! Although they are not memories of the same life he remembered earlier.

You can probably find good points on this forum and by reading for example Carol Bowman's books, but the most important thing in my opinion would be to write down his memories so he can read about them when he's older and can't possibly remeber those lives anymore. Also it's good you are there to listen if he wants to share his memories. Now that he's a bit older I guess you could ask him some questions, but don't try too hard if he seems to be annoyed by this.

Do his parents believe in reincarnation?

How about you, Star? You said you have always been interested in reincarnation - do you remember any past lives? We are always interested in other people's memories here, so please share if you feel like it!

Welcome, Star. :)

That is really interesting that your grandson remembers. The more I read here and the more I talk to people about it, the more I realize that this is more common than people realize. It's just a matter of knowing what to listen and look for when children talk.

I think it's great that you are talking to your grandson and asking what her remembers. I, too, hope you are writing it down in case he forgets someday.
