my son is 3 and 1/2. Cody has an imagination that is so vivid, that it's like he's in his on reality. I love to watch him play.he loves to pretend that he's a working man. he hauls gas just like his daddy. but his paly has turned weird. one day out of the blu he came to his dad and i said he couldn't go to work, we asked him why aand he said because his son Andrew was real sick and he needed to be with him. well we didn't think much of it at the time, but then a few weeks later he came to me and said he was sad. he then told me his son Andrew had died. We don't know anyone name Andrew. this does bother me. I don't know rather to dismiss it as child play or take him serious. he claims to have a wife and 4 children. he only talks about Andrew though. so any input would be nice.

The way with remembering past life memories is that they usually come out in little blurbs, typically around your son's age. If he wants to talk about it, he will (usually on his own). Have you read Carole's book? It's fantastic. It really might give you some good insight into what's going on. As a kid, I always had past life memories too, but never shared them with anyone (even asked my mom if I talked about things like that, and apparently I didn't). Good to see that kids are being more open, and that parents are being more aware.

Take Care,
-Kat.

Please realize that many chilren who are coming into the world now have far greater abilities to perceive all there is than most people did before. You are not the only parent who has a child with special abilities.

Please consider these other sources of info on children with special spiritual gifts and perceptions:

hello thanks for your response. yes i have read carols book and i loved it. i would like to find more books like that by different authors but have had no luck. any know any???

well, Carol has another book due out in spring. But I don't believe that there are too many who discuss the same topic (ie. specifically children's past lives.) I would reccommend Many Lives Many Masters by Brian Weiss

Hi Megan, I was just wondering about something, your signature. What does "I had my car's alignment checked, it's chaotic evil." supposed to mean? Hope you're all having a great day. Take Care (And Happy holiday season!) -Kat.

Chaotic Evil is a term from Role-playing games meaning really evil. I started calling our car that because 7 days after we bought our van, the engine blew, and the only reason we got anything at all out of the dealer was that my uncle's company buys several new cars/trucks from them a year, and after being given the run-around about it, we called my uncle, and he called the dealer, suddenly they were willing to compromise. (Ont. doesn't have a lemon law.) Next there were a string of smaller mishaps and finally the transmission blew out. I stuck the chaotic evil thingy in my sig file, and we haven't had any further probs, except the brakes, and we knew they were going to have to be replaced. (Knock wood, and anything else handy)

I think you should look at Carol's book and plan a way to ask questions of your son based on the way that kids in the book were led to explain things about their past lives. Probably you'd have to wait til he's talking about it again and then ask a few questions like where he lived with Andrew and anything that might give a clue as to when this is. What if that life is happening at the same time as this life as your son? And, of course, now that Andrew has died maybe he won't mention it any more and you have lost your chance to find out. I'm thinking of a book that mentioned something about parallel lives of the author's son, but I can't remember the title and author in my head. I'll try to find it and will post it here if I do.
Doesn't Carol say in her book that she wrote it because there was nothing in existence specifically on the topic of children's past life memories? So it's not surprising if you can't find anything else on the subject, really. There are bound to be fragments here and there, though.

Here is the book I mentioned: Being Alive is Being Psychic by Sandra J. Stevens. The part I was thinking of begins on page 100 and goes on a few pages.
