My son's comments when he was young

This is my first time in the forum and I really don't know what I'm doing - so please feel free to advise!

My son is now 13. He relayed several memories when he was between 2 and 4 years old. I knew something was up and shared what he said with people all the time, yet never once did anyone recognize what may have been happening or said they had heard of this before - it was new to everyone. So, I didn't persue it then. I would like to try and remember the conversations better (hypnotism?) to try to put the pieces back together. I don't think my son's ready for anything like that, just me. Any suggestions?

The reason I want to remember better is that I believe our conversations definitely had to do with his purpose here now, but I don't want to assume anything nor push anything on him that may ot be accurate. He use to talk about his other family, including that he had at least two brothers. They came up several times, unfortunately I didn't know how to react or what to ask and mostly just listened. I did however ask once, that if he use to live with another family, where was he between the time he lived with them and now living with us. At about 3, he got that look on his face, like you silly person and replied very matter-of-factly, "I was with God and then he made me a baby again and gave me to you."

He also use to get terribly upset in the car when we would go on the highway. We kept going on the highway because we felt that was the only way to get him over it. He would cry and beg us not to go. Finally, one day about 4, he told us he was killed in a car accident. Again, I didn't know what to ask, nor did he elaborate. We did find out years later that even though he didn't get nearly as upset with his grandmothers, (they both told similar accounts), he would ask them questions like "are we almost off the highway, do we have to go on the highway, and would tell them he was glad when they were off the highway." They didn't share that with me until about 6 months ago when we were just talking.

There are more messages, like I said, that I want to remember better. I've gone back and added the information regarding the actual conversations because no-one was responding to just the first paragraph. I really need help on knowing where to go from here. Thank you in advance for any encouragement or help you can offer.

When my daughter was really young, I did not really listen to what she said ... I heard the words, answered the questions, but never asked myself WHY ...

Have you talked to him lately? He is the same age as my daughter, I wonder if his experiences now are similar to hers, if he has the same abilities she has, and how he uses them.

She really is a unique person ... and looks at life very differently than most people. But then she knows things others do not. :)

my son's memories

I have spoken with him, but only a little. He seems intrigued, but not enough to pursue the conversation much. Until I have more information I didn't want push too hard. He is a unique person also. Every year we hear from teachers, coaches, even referees about what a great kid he is. One teacher even told us that the whole classroom was different when our son was present, that he affected the whole class in a positive way. He also said that when my son wasn't there, you could tell things weren't right.

His coaches have always told us they would take 10 more kids like him (no - he's not a great athlete), he listens and does what he's told and tries real hard. After a game, even if the ref/ump has just met him through the course of the game, they have stopped us afterward to tell us what a great kid he is.

He's just different, though he also has plenty of moments of being a normal teenager as well! That's part of what keeps me thinking that he has a special purpose here. I have told him that - that I think God has a specific use for him and that he should remember that whenever dealing with other people, adults and kids.

What is the background on your daughter. You indicated special gifts - what gifts is she exhibiting? I have had a few incidents when messages were received as an adult, but I don't think he's had anything like that happen, nor has he talked about anything else in the way of gifts - I'll have to ask him!

Thank you for responding - I'll try not to be so wordy next time - its just starting out - it seems there's so much to say!

Hi TLJ

Welcome to the forum :)

Just a thought that struck me whilst reading your posts - maybe trying to remember what your son said to you back then is not what is important. It may not be the right path for you to start on yet. To use an analogy, I guess it would be like starting a journey halfway through and if this journey and his presence and comments were meant to push or spark something inside of you, then it seems to have already ignited that first flame and now you are ready to start running with it and find answers YOUR way. (Hope I’m making sense and not just running around talking in silly metaphors here…it late on my small corner of the world, so you’ll have to excuse me ;) )

Maybe you could start by looking into meditation and gentle relaxation exercises. Begin to look inside yourself for some of them answers to your questions. What your son said exactly might not be as important as to what you can access yourself now that you have the intention to delve deeper into your own psyche for answers and newer questions to then ponder from there.

We have some great threads in the FAQ section that you may enjoy browsing over for some helpful hints or starting points, I’ve pulled a particular thread for you below…hope it helps :)

Meditation suggestions (don’t let the title of the thread put you off, the actual parts corresponding to meditation and such are relevant whatever your intent) – How can I learn about my past lives?

My daughter can communicate directly with some who have gone on, usually my father is the strongest she connects with. She also channels, has had obe's since she was a young child. She used to be able to see things that were wrong with people, but that scared her.

You can do a search on some of the my old posts - in many ways we have fun with it. :)

You are very correct in not pushing. If he knows you are open, he will talk when he is ready. Perhaps you might want to start with the more know psychics, like watching John Edward on TV, maybe get one of his books - just to see if that opens the lines of communication with him. I know when I first talked to my niece about the person who communicated with her, she started to cry - she was so happy to finally find someone who actually believed her. Her family thought, and thinks to this day, that we are nuts....

I, too, have been working on my abilities. Unfortunately, they are not well developed - yet. I have a long way to go. For now, I must be content with communicating thru her.

Best wishes to you. And please tread carefully. The teen years, as you already know, can be difficult, and these abilities can make it harder for your child, especially if their friends find out. Most of the world does not believe as we do. I know that we are just the lucky ones who have, for whatever reason, discovered the reality beyond the norm. And, I like it that way :):)

Question about your daughter

If you don't mind - what is obe? Can you tell how new I am to all this? I've been trying to do a little reading since the last responses - I figure I have a long way to go. You mentioned also about reading some of your previous postings. How do I find those - I'd love to read them!

I have had some experiences in the past and have considered trying to develop some of my possible abilities as well. That's part of my research as well! Look forward to hearing from you.

OBE is Out of Body Experience. It is where your spirit leaves your body. I have tried to achieve it but cannot. Many others here have done it, I am sure they will share their experiences with you.
