This is my first time in the forum and I really don't know what I'm doing - so please feel free to advise!
My son is now 13. He relayed several memories when he was between 2 and 4 years old. I knew something was up and shared what he said with people all the time, yet never once did anyone recognize what may have been happening or said they had heard of this before - it was new to everyone. So, I didn't persue it then. I would like to try and remember the conversations better (hypnotism?) to try to put the pieces back together. I don't think my son's ready for anything like that, just me. Any suggestions?
The reason I want to remember better is that I believe our conversations definitely had to do with his purpose here now, but I don't want to assume anything nor push anything on him that may ot be accurate. He use to talk about his other family, including that he had at least two brothers. They came up several times, unfortunately I didn't know how to react or what to ask and mostly just listened. I did however ask once, that if he use to live with another family, where was he between the time he lived with them and now living with us. At about 3, he got that look on his face, like you silly person and replied very matter-of-factly, "I was with God and then he made me a baby again and gave me to you."
He also use to get terribly upset in the car when we would go on the highway. We kept going on the highway because we felt that was the only way to get him over it. He would cry and beg us not to go. Finally, one day about 4, he told us he was killed in a car accident. Again, I didn't know what to ask, nor did he elaborate. We did find out years later that even though he didn't get nearly as upset with his grandmothers, (they both told similar accounts), he would ask them questions like "are we almost off the highway, do we have to go on the highway, and would tell them he was glad when they were off the highway." They didn't share that with me until about 6 months ago when we were just talking.
There are more messages, like I said, that I want to remember better. I've gone back and added the information regarding the actual conversations because no-one was responding to just the first paragraph. I really need help on knowing where to go from here. Thank you in advance for any encouragement or help you can offer.
