Hello forum,
Recently I had my first PL regression therapy session. And when I left I had decided it would be my last. I wasn't accepting in my critical mind what my brain "saw" in the session. I attribute it to my imagination because it was too spotty and not solid enough to make any sense anyway. So I figured I will just have to settle for that and be happy with the unknown.
I woke up from a very horrific dream two weeks later. I was overwhelmed with emotion. Overwhelming sadness, but more a feeling of being traumatized. ( I can only compare it to the reason you cry when you are just mugged) In my dream, I am with my Mom (but we don't look the same and I can't remember what we looked like and I am unsure of our relation to each other- I just know we are family). We are prisoners or hostages, something of that nature caught by this man in a Uniform or man of authority with a black hand gun. We are on our knees and we were not caught by surprise. We knew we were going to die. I knew he was going to shoot us. The dream mainly focused around my "last minute emotions and desires" before I died. I didn't want "my mom" to see me die. I wanted her to go first. I had overwhelming sense of concern for her and fright for how it was going to feel and be. I can't really explain it, that was a poor explaination.. eh.. But he shoots her first and then me and immediately I am now looking at my body from above and i can for the first time see what I am wearing, and see that i was shot in the back. I thought to myself, " my body has fallen in a very weird way forward." (It was slumped over, hunch back, arms just hanging, kneeling still, it just creeps me out) I later saw a woman running shot on from behind and she fell like that. i was surprised, it was the exact way I saw my body. Someone told me its common to fall that way but I have personally never seen that before.I just wouldn't figure that? I woke up my back was completely drenched and I sat against my wall trying to stay awake for the rest of the night and half delirious from exhaustion, crying, and groggy. My boyfriend was next to me and I slept on top of him with my back against his chest until I felt safe again. I was shaken.
I am not sure if this was a PL memory but there was a specific characteristic about this dream that was different from my other dream experiences. I had a very real experience, nothing super imaginative or silly ... seemed like real life.. then after that "segment" ended it tied into a party at my University with a keg and lots of beer.. and someone still trying to kill me. That seems like a normal dream..
lol.. I read on this forum, someone wrote that past life memories can be identified from "regular dreams" because they usually occur in a very "realistic manner" and then the brain continues with its normal "imaginative "dreams." This was exactly what I experienced. Has anyone else experienced this? What do you think of my experience? I don't really know what to think.. I am not unusually close with my mom in this life and if I had to say one person I would have followed here I wouldnt guess her.
I also recently two or three nights ago had a dream of sitting at a "lunch table" like you do in school with a bunch of boys, and I don't know why but I just knew it was a different time. I don't remember if we looked the same I just "felt knew"(?) that it was my boyfriend I met in this lifetime in Europe and his closest friends. (I am American) We had just been looking at some necklaces I decided not to buy in a store. ( it was quite silly and I know this part was my imagination) but once we were at the table everything was normal and very real at this point in my dream.. then a alarm rang outside and everyone rushed in a frenzy to get their stuff or coats and ran outside almost in fear. It wasn't a normal calm "school bell." I remember feeling scared to find my coat and thinking, " I have to wear both in case it is all I am left with. I will layer them for protection." Like I was going to be wearing only that for the next two months. I was frightened I was going to lose the guy who is my boyfriend through the crowd.I peered through the crowd rushing around and saw a large brick wall built high outside with people very frightened and a tenseness. Then I woke up. I didn't identify or pay attention to any certain time period in the dream, it was just a normal dream to me after all. It occurred to me when I woke up it may not be? I have always been attracted to the times of world war II and my boyfriend and I are quite young and both love a particular jazz from the 40's. I smile when I think of that for some reason.
Sorry for the long post. maybe someone can comment. I am wondering if this has to do with the regression. who knows? I cancelled my second appointment.
