Nice to be here!

Hello there!

I couldn't find anything in the forum guidelines regarding introductions, so I hope it's okay if I introduce myself here. My name here is For The Survivors, which is a translation of a Dutch song title that is very dear to me (Voor De Overlevenden). However, I often go by MB, so you may also call me that if you wish. :)

So I'm MB, I'm from The Netherlands and I'm 34 years old. Despite being half English and a quarter Irish, English isn't my mother tongue, so please bear with me if I spill some crooked sentences now and then.

Reincarnation has always been a very strong fascination of mine. Unfortunately I only have questions and more questions, so I'm afraid that my contributions to this forum might not be very useful. Of course I hope that will change along the way! I have no actual memories of past lives (yet), but there are many things about me that I chalk up to past life experiences. I'm longing to find out more, I'm at a point in my life now where I feel I can't really go on before I learn at least something. I'm kind of stuck to be honest. I have read quite a few topics on this forum already, and they have all been very inspiring so far. I hope my stay here will take me somewhere. :)

If you have any questions, feel free to ask of course!

PS: I hope it isn't frowned upon if I don't participate in the "like" system. It's really not my forte, and I prefer to stay out of it if I can, because I've come to notice that it generally has a negative impact on me. I'm also a bit slow when it comes to modern technology. I just wanted to explain in advance, because I would feel awful if I offended anyone by not "liking" things.

Hi MB,

Welcome to the forum. I too have decided to back away from the liking system. As advanced as we are, communications wise, we seem so backwards in other areas. Of course the nature of likes and dislikes comes from a mindset looking to capitalize off of data, so it makes sense to say no thank you and to connect how sometimes greed keeps us backwards too. Your english is admirable for being a second or third language. Very intelligent.

Sometimes just being here is good enough. Thank you for such a warm introduction, and I look forward to sharing more in our future.

Kind regards,
~CP

Hi MB,

Welcome to the forum.
It is great to greet someone with an open mind and the number of fancy memories of past lives is not a criterion for participation in the forum.

Thank you all very much for your kind words and the warm welcome. :) I'm looking forward to participate.

Since I have no specific or clear memories of a past life I am not quite sure yet where to start, it's mostly just odd fascinations and strange fears. If anything, I got even more lost along the way. I used to have strong assumptions/feelings about what kind of things I may have experienced in a previous lifetime, but the frustration of not being able to get to those memories has pushed them away even further, I feel. Regression therapy is one of my greatest wishes at the moment, but unfortunately it's out of my reach for now, especially budget-wise. YouTube regression came up dry, but I'm pretty sure the fault lies with me, I would like to start a thread to dig into that a little further.
