... while I was making my deliveries. One of the girls behind the front desk was telling a cute story about her young daughter who was helping her make cupcakes. The little girl was about 3 or so and was excited to be helping mommy. The only problem seems to have come when mommy reached for the can of frosting. The little girl said they should make their own frosting. Mommy said this would be easier and just as yummy. Her daughter then put on an indignant look and huffed "I've always made my own frosting!" There was some chuckling while the woman told her co-workers that her daughter would have gotten along well with her grandmother, who always insisted on making her own frosting.
It wasn't my place to intrude, so I made my delivery and left, hoping some day mom and daughter would make frosting from scratch.
