Yes I do believe it was him. When we are in the stage between sleep and waking, is when we're more susceptible to psychic phenomena- something to do with brain wave patterns. A few years ago, one morning I was waking up, there appeared to me a translucent woman standing next to my bed for 2 seconds, got the impression she was dressed in Victorian style clothes; she said "Beatrice" (not my name) and vanished; then for a split second I saw a goldish coloured heavy counterpane (?)/bedspread on my bed, and I got the impression that I was a woman with very long dark blonde hair. When I heard my Dad yesterday, I got up feeling happier than I have done for some weeks. The other reason I strongly believe it was him: I think, he thought if he just called my name, I would think, maybe it's just my imagination, but he spoke to the cat instead, which isn't what I was expecting him to do.
