Question for Professionals & Practitioners

I recently posted these questions on a hypnosis board, but I didn't get any responses. I thought I'd post it here - my post title says I'm looking for answers from professionals, but by that I just mean anyone who's extremely versed in hypnosis. I have two questions...

1) What is the best way to keep your client from falling asleep during the hypnosis for a PLR? I have been wondering, as they're first entering the hypnotic, semi-somatic state, can you tell them either directly or through an embedded command that they're not to fall asleep or that now is not a time for sleeping, and if so, does this work?

2) My second question is... How do you deal with your own scripts effecting yourself as you're working with a client? For example, when I do a "body scan" to relax my clients, I notice that I'm body scanning as well and starting to slip into deep relaxation, that I'm actually reacting to my own script. Sometimes this has made me sleepy while in session with a client. Is this normal, and/or what is the best way to remain detached from your scripts so that you don't hypnotize yourself along with your client?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
