Scottish child remembers past life as a German

This is very interesting. I was in my neighbours house today, he had a friend with him that he hadn't seen in more than 10years.

To tell a long story short, when my neighbour spoke of the book I gave him a lend of (Old souls), his friend said "Oh God, don't talk about that stuff". She then told me that her niece, who is about my age now (22), used to tell her mum and dad that they're not her real mum and dad. This occured around the age of 3-4.

She said sometimes she would speak a different language which she is sure was German as she knows a few German words herself. The rest of the family thought she was just speaking jibberish. This didn't happen all the time, but when it did, she had a completely different accent. Interestingly, the different language and accent only occured when the child was annoyed about something. She (her niece) did mention a German town, along with her PL mum and dads names. I can't remember what German town she told me she said again, as I've forgotten but it wasn't one I've heard of before.

It's interesting that she told me the whole family have no religious or spiritual beliefs at all, including herself. They thought it was all a bit odd but didn't give it anymore attention than that. I asked if her niece still remembers saying these things. She does, but that's all. She doesn't have any memories anymore, just remembers what she said. It's also amazing that she noticed a few German words before the child even said anything about being from Germany.

It just shows that there are cases out there that go unreported. Skeptics say, for example, that the 3,000+ cases held by the university of virginia are nothing compared to the overall population of earth. What they don't think about is, as I've said, thousands of thousands of children's memories don't even get taken seriously.


I was delighted to hear this as it's the first thing I've heard supporting reincarnation that doesn't come from a book. A lot of People think that all these cases are 'made up' to sell books. That, of course, isn't my opinion, but it's fascinating to think that children's PL memories may actually be much more common than we think.

I agree with what you said Kristopher, since my brother (some 40 odd years ago when he was little - 3 or 4 at most) asked me once, "remember when I was big and you were small? I pushed you out of the way and I got runned over by the car. I was all of 9 or so myself and told him, "You were never bigger than me and you didn't get run over by a car either!!"


I think he learned not to talk about what were obviously past life memories. Nobody in my family ever took notice of such talk, just passed it off as "imagination".

Absolutely - I know several of my cousins had past life memories when they were younger...But unlike my parents, their parents didn't allow them to speak of anything to do with reincarnation, so I doubt they remember a thing now.
