Siberian Woman

Ok, this morning I regressed (I fell asleep before I could last night... :laugh: ) Anyway, I had a hard time getting into an altered state, then I sneezed in the middle which brought me out of it. I went to Siberia, and I was a woman, maybe in her thirties/forties. I had a cottage in or next to the mountains, they were really close to where I lived (I think it was in the mountains, but not too far up or too close to the nearest village. I had little to no family at all. Anyway, I was carrying heaving things and going up the mountains. Weird, huh? I think she/I had calloused shoulders, which might explain how easily my shoulders tense up with the slightest stress. When I died, I was an old woman, I died of old age and I am pretty sure there was no one around me when I did die. It was different than my first experience ("Over There") though, I had no idea of what time period, and like my first experience I had a hard time seeing what my shoes and clothes looked like. I haven't been able to distinguish what my clothes looked like yet, but maybe with practice I can fix that?

Wow! That sounds interesting VanH!

With some practice you definitely should be able to discern what type of clothing you were wearing. Start small -- look for shoes. If you can't "see" -- try "feeling" when you're walking -- take note of how each step feels -- are your shoes tight? Loose? Are you barefoot?

The same with clothing -- do you feel like you're wearing pants or a dress? Tight ot loose-fitting clothing? Do your clothes feel layered? Are you hot or cold? Does your head feel covered or bare? Can you feel wind in your hair or sunshine on your head?

How wonderful to be so open to these experiences. I always look forward to when you share them with us - even if I've been "quiet" lately. :laugh:

The detail of calloused shoulders really got to me and I think your suggestion of carryover from that life is fascinating. But what really grabbed me was, despite the difference between your "over there" experience and this experience, is the similarity to your other memory of drowning with feelings of loneliness. Although, from the details you provide of this experience, this experience seems filled more with a sense of "alone" rather than loneliness.

In any case, I hope you'll share more when the time comes! :)

Well, my second meditation, I had a feeling of being pulled toward Siberia, but I fought against it and went to the Pacific Ocean instead to find out more about that life.
